First Sight

Chapter 10

All day I heard the whispers around me ,but every time I heard them and started to put my head down I remembered what Lucas told me. Not only did I remember what he told me I remembered the way his lips had felt on my neck. Every time I thought of him I started to blush. So basically my face was permanently red the whole day.

As I was on my way to fourth period I ran into Lizzie ,and Lizzie being Lizzie she doesn't like to start a conversation like a normal person. She has to get to big things out of the way and then tell you how nice your hair is today.

" I have a lot of things to say to you but I will give you a chance to explain yourself after." she said. Lizzie was oddly calm compared to what I imagined she would be acting like after hearing all the rumors that flying around our school.

"Okay." I replied and with that she started ranting about everything I had been waiting to hear.

"First of all what the heck were you doing in Lucas Mayfield's car this morning?

Second of all why the heck did he kiss your neck ,and third of all I thought you said that you were mad at him and nothing was gonna happen between you two?" She said all of that in one breath. I was really impressed.

"Alright the answer to your first question is I was only in his car because he wouldn't let me sleep last night until I had agreed to do so. Second of all I have no idea why he would kiss my neck. I'm still trying to figure that part out myself. Lastly there is nothing going on between Lucas and I at least I don't think there is." After that I proceeded to tell her everything that had happened since the mall incident. I told her about the almost kiss and the mysterious letter and phone call last night at 4:30 in the morning.

After I had explained to her everything she did the next thing she does. She comforts me with something I love.

"So where do you want to eat? We will just ditch the rest of our classes and hang out ,and just before you start protesting I will make sure you are home by 3:30 because honey I am just as curious as you are about those plans of his. So you in the mood for Mexican or junk food?"

" I am ready for some Taco Bell."

I know I said I probably wouldn't be able to update and yet I have done so twice in the last two days s here is my explanation. It seems as if I can only watch the kids I babysit play so many video games before I get extremely bored haha So like I said I am not gonna promise anything about me continuing to update like this all week. Also to those of you who I know are gonna hate the end of this chapter ,you know who you are ;), You shall live and I do my best to update soon!!!! Alright I think I said everything I need to say.
