Shortly after Kouta was executed, he was brought to a strange land. He believed it was the land of the dead. But it was something more, something strange. Kouta stood in a vast land of emptiness, it was pitch black. But then a strange figure appeared before him. He asked the figure,
"Who are you? And where am I? Is this the land of the dead?".
The hooded man stood there quietly and continued to stare at him. Kouta was not satisfied with silence. He yelled out to the figure, I said............
The man then raised its hand. It spoke. I am the ruler of this domain. I see all and know all.
Kouta then spoke out and said, My name is........ but he was interrupted by the man.
"I know very well who you are and I must say I am not satisfied with your death. It is unjust and horrible. I cannot sit here in silence knowing that one such as yourself was killed because of selfish reasons. I also cannot stand that you would eagerly accept a death like this. For you are also selfish. For your ideal to bring peace within all the realms is ludicrous and beyond belief. Peace is something that cannot be obtained in this cruel world. There will always be conflict within others no matter what the reason may be. May it be an individual or a group of people, conflict will always exist in the world. Power without ideals is foolery, and Ideals without power is just a dead man's wish."
Kouta then spoke out to the hooded man.
"Then what do you want me to do? Are you saying my dream was pointless? That my efforts were all for naught. I too cannot sit here in silence watching the world I was born in crumble and fall due to the corrupted society that I live in. I wanted to change that. Is that so wrong? Tell me, what would you do if you were in my shoes? What would you do if all the loved ones you cared about died in front of your eyes, and yet you couldn't do anything because you were only human. If only I WASN'T HUMAN, I WOULD CHANGE THIS WORLD FOR THE BETTER. I didn't sit there plotting for revenge for the loved ones I lost. Instead I plotted a plan to make sure no one would have to suffer the same fate as I did. To make peace so that no one would ever have to see their loved ones die a horrible death just because they were different. I never had hatred for the humans who were evil, the demons that only had kill on their mind, or the angels that thought of us as a weak species. I just wanted everyone to be equal. We all are struggling to live in this cruel world, why can't we all work together to prosper and thrive together?"
The man then said to Kouta,
"Because this world is cruel, if you are so angry at the aspects of this world, why don't you ask your God to make it better. Or does he not answer your prayers at night before you sleep, does he not give you miracles. Only when you are at your lowest and still have faith in him will he answer you and bestow upon a miracle. But even then, it is never enough for you is it. Tell me, do you believe in God?"
Kouta then went silent and thought about it. After a minute of thinking, he responded.
"I do believe in God. Because I believe in him, I also know there are no coincidences in life, everything happens for a reason. The most random thing can happen in life, and I still believe this is God's doing. Even if the world is corrupted, I still believe it's God's doing. I know he is waiting patiently for someone to notice and actually change the world. For he gave us the ultimate power, the power of free will. Because of that, I still haven't changed my dream. TO BRING PEACE WITHIN ALL THE REALMS. If you can bring me to this land of emptiness after death, you can send me right back can't you."
The man was shocked at his answer, surprised to hear his response. He responded "Never in my 3000 years that I have been working have I heard an answer like that from a human, such as yourself. I have tested more lives than you count, and they have all responded with ludicrous answers. I have sent them all to where they belong. I am the gateway to Hell and the Heavens. I am the grim reaper. I cannot take you to Hell nor the heavens, because it is simply not your time. Again I will say, I am not satisfied with your death because I felt it was not right. I guess you could say I am also selfish. How pitiful of me. I will send you back to your world, but I cannot send you back to the time of your death. I can only send you a couple thousand years into the future. But you must promise me one thing. You will complete your dream and die a proper death. That is the only way I can send you back. Until then, we will meet again."
