Chapter 7 - No Turning Back

2 weeks of planning has passed by to enter the black market region city, Nantegral. The group head towards the city which is a caved in crater that measures almost 300 miles deep with a diameter of 200 miles long.

Everyone, we should move as a group for now. This place is known for not having any laws. Remember, anything goes. But don't go pissing off the wrong person. They all may look like bums and thieves, but some of them are very powerful people despite their appearance. - Rin

Need I remind you as well, not all of us have reincarnated with our full abilities. Don't go picking a fight without consolidating with me first. Until we know what kind of position of power we are in, fighting is a no go. Plus, I want to stay on the low as much as possible.....we're being watched. - Kouta

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement and headed deeper into the city. The group decided to get a meal at a corner restaurant to spot areas where there might be clues.

It's been 2 hours.....we're getting nowhere. - Tatsumi

Moving as a group isn't the best idea if we are looking for clues about supplies for an army. - Aoi

Let's go with plan B then. I didn't wanna resort to this without Kouta's permission though. - Rin

It's fine. Let's split up and use plan B. Rin, Shido, Evon, check out the southern hemisphere of the city. Ryuuto, Aoi, Tatsumi, go north. I'll stay in the center on my own. - Kouta

Cap, that's too dangerous. - Ryuuto

I'll be fine, We'll rendezvous at this location in 2 hours. If you see anything that might lead us to clues, tail them, but not all the way. We don't want to get ambushed and split up. That's the worst case scenario. Everyone understands. Move out. - Kouta

The group breaks off into the groups assigned.

Hey......tell me something Shido. Did you notice something off with the cap back there? - Evon

No.....Didn't really pay attention. Just following orders. - Shido

I felt like......something was bothering him. You think it's the oblivion orb. - Evon

I mean.....the oblivion orb has been reported missing for over a thousand years. Sure......it's weird that the orb fell into the captain's hands but.... At least we know the orb is on our side. - Shido
