Phantom of the underworld

Chapter 36

Back at the basketball court, where Tetsuki and the gang with each team except Shougo and Makoto.

Tetsuki team gained an extra point from her team which gives them a tie with each other as Tetsuki was on the bench analysing each player even her old teammate while the other team seems surprised at how much they catching up with the generation of miracles.

As for the generation of miracles, they seem shocked of one of their teammate is very good while Akashi and Midorima can tell it Tetsuki analyze as they both grit their teeth for their forgetfulness that Tetsuki is dangerous even outside of court, even though this is only second quarter of the game. Akashi want to know why Tetsuki's uncle dislikes his family so much,  after all, curiosity kills the cat. 

As the buzzer hummed for half-time. Shoichi's interception was no fluke; as long as the former Touou captain was close the pass was shut down. Unless it was Kagami, all the other members would attempt to score three-pointers while Tatsuya attempted to keep Murasakibara on the opposite side of the shooter. Kise had attempted to copy lighting dribble and pass Kotarō, but the technique wasn't copied perfectly and Kotarō could easily keep up. After all, that was Tetsuki's strategy...

Upon previous agreement, halftime would last for ten minutes. Two teams separated to opposite sides of the gym, the coaches providing water for them. The other players were asked to avoid interacting with either team until the end of the game.

"Alright, now this is where the main plan starts."

"Woah, woah, wait," attention was drawn to Kagami, "I thought we were already doing the plan."

"We simply needed the score to be within a reasonable range when we reach halftime." Tetsuki eyes gaze up towards Kazunari, "Kazunari-kun, how are you?"

"I'm ready to go; I'm tired of sitting out of the fun." Tetsuki nodded at him.

"Kazunari-kun will replace Yukio-kun on Akashi-kun while I take Shoichi-kun place whether we win or lose will mostly be based on whether or not we can read their moves and predict correctly."

"Ohhh! Like you did against Kise or when you used your Quasi-emperor eye to stop Akashi."

"Yes, but since my version works on people I've had time to understand and play with this should make it easier."

"How?" Kagami questioned Tetsuki as he rise one of his eyebrows at her.

"After playing with the others on my birthday, I have a good understanding of how they'll play, and besides I was their vice-captain and strategist, Kagami-kun. I know their weakness and strengths lie in." 

"Tetsuki is right, after all, she is dangerous whether it is on the court or off the court. No one doesn't want to make an enemy of her -mumble at the end- even the underworld." Yukio replied to Kagami while he cross his arms over his chest.

Kagami didn't hear the last words from Yukio but he wonders what Yukio just said Kagami just shrugs it off thinking it was not important but why does his instinct say differently though.

 Tatsuya looks at Kagami carefully until he slaps his brother back to get Kagami back to reality "Come on Taiga, let us go and win this together."

Kagami grins at him and replies in English "Yeah, your right. I can beat all of these bastards together."

"I smell someone's ego growing."

Kagami growls at Shoichi and the four eyes grin at him while Kotaro grins along with Shoichi at the comment.

 Kotaro replies "We win this together right Tetsuki-chan and guys."

"Yes, let's beat Shin-chan and the rest!" Kazunari replies with excitement and also shows Midorima his skills, Tetsuki smile a bit at the boys but then returns to her famous deadpan face.

"Let us go minna-san."

As Yukio seats down on the bench and grins a bit as the others go back to court to win so that Akashi won't be able to find out anytime soon, why Akira doesn't like him? After all Yukio, Tetsuki, Shige and Shougo know why...

-flashback when Tetsuki, Shige and Shougo in middle school-

Yukio, Shige and Shougo were waiting for Tetsuki because Akira wants to have a meeting with them about something. 

Yukio sighs as Shougo was checking out the girls while Shige tries to embarrass Shougo, "Have one of you called Tetsuki?"

Shige replies "I think she wants to practice basketball at her school gym. After all, Tetsuki and I made a promise to go against each other."

Yukio smiled while they both heard a tch which happens to be Shougo as they both rise their eyebrow at him.

"Tetsuki just text me saying she's coming."

"But, I'm already here though."

The three of them jump a bit at Tetsuki appearance as Yukio "Tetsuki, one day you going to make my heart die on me."

"Gomen."

Three sighs at the girl as they all walk inside Kuroko estate, Akira smiles at his niece as he goes in for the hug like always while Shougo groans a bit.

 Moving on, as for the meeting Akira was discussing with them about getting new members but then what caught their interest is about the Akashi.

"What about the Seijuro family, old man?" Shougo replied to Akira.

 Akira sigh at him but reply anyway, "The Akashi well through generations we use to be acquainted with the business, not the underworld also I use to have a friend who have to arrange married to the Akashi but she sadly passed away."

"So you're saying that you are not acquainted with the Akashi anymore because they break your promise with business with business deals, am I correct? Akira."

Akira smiled at Yukio and then reply "That's correct, I told Tetsuki a bit when she was younger about my old friend but the only reason I don't like them is that they keep destroying the name of Yamaguchi name I won't let that happen even in the future. But, I know that you -look at Tetsuki- will take my place as my heir."

 Tetsuki nods at her uncle

Yukio try to locate Tetsuki but eventually find her  to see how much she grows even with his help, Shige and Shougo but he and the others are prepared for anything even in hell after all his wrath, Yukio and the others will protect Tetsuki at any cost.

Kawaii-chan: Wow this is so much writing I have ever done

Midorima: Your probably were slacking off, as usual

Kawaii-chan: How rudeeee tsundereima 

Midorima: Don't call me that! 

Kazu: Shin-chan calm down but she is right with the nickname tho

Midorima: *glare at me and Kazu* 

everyone except Tetsuki and Chihiro: *sigh*

Kawaii-chan: Anyway minna hope you lot enjoy this-

Kawaii-chan: *deadpan at them* Seriously 

Aomine: Who cares your gonna forget like always

Kise: Aominecchi she busy she has a life other than this 

Kagami: Can't believe I'm saying this but Kise is right Ahomine

Aomine: What did you say Bakagami 

Kawaii-chan: *sigh* Anyway hope you lot have a good day/night
