As the basketball match still goes on they hear the whistle for a break, on the GoM bench. 

"Since when were they that good?" Aomine complied, "eve with Kagami we should've crushed them by now, so how are they playing better than they do with their own team." 

"The difference is who's in charge." Midorima answered, "Kuroko surprisingly has excellent leadership abilities. She understands her teammate's strengths and weaknesses and is placing them where they'll perform the best." 

"So should we change marks?" Kise asked, "If we do, can I get Kurokocchi?"

"It would be a waste of effort." Four pairs of eyes turned to their ex captain as the redhead gulped down his water, "Kuroko-chan sadly knows how we work as she does her current team." Akashi sighed. 

"regarding the game," Red and green eyes met with each other as Midorima continued, "you haven't used your Emperor eye in all of the game-"

"I can't."

Silence engulf the group for several moments before Aomine commented, "What do you mean you can't?" 

"The emperor eye was more so the other Akashi ability and in this bet I agreed to not revert to my other personality during the game or I would immediately forfeit the bet. Sadly, I've now realized that doing so puts me at a disadvantage." 

"What do you mean Aka-chin?" 

"Even whether the emperor eye, Kuroko-chan could see a split second further into the future with her Quasi-emperor eye. Not only can I not use the emperor eye, but Kuroko-chan, I believe, is no longer restricted to just her teammates." Akashi chuckled slightly.

"She may be able to see every future moves anybody on the court makes. But not only that she is vice-captain for a reason." 

The four knows that but they do want to hear her saying their first names even Akashi himself even though he just wants to know why Tetsuki uncle have against his family though. After all curiosity kills the cat.

As the four repeat what Akashi said in their heads to sunk the words in after couple seconds someone has to break the silence.

"What do you mean Akashi?" Midorima was to first to recover but then asked about Tetsuki ability of her eyes. He has an inkling of what Akashi was talking about but wanted the redhead to confirm his suspicions. 

"Yeah," Aomine added, "this isn't the time for you to suddenly be making jokes." 

"And since when have I been the one to make jokes, especially given current circumstances?" Red eye then narrowed at the ganguaro. "It is highly possible for Kuroko-chan given her analyzation capabilities. During the winter cup finals her and Seirin managed to counter me even with both the emperor eye and the zone through her Quasi emperor eye." 

"That is true." Midorima stated, "She was also able to predict and plan counters to all of Kise move during the semi-final match that bought Seirin the four seconds needed to win." 

"Kuroko-chan Quasi emperor eye is likely a weaken version of her true emperor eye. In truth, Kuroko-chan eye is potentially restricted to the people she has come to trust. Whether it is her teammates or her opponents has little importance in the matter. Which means that since Kuroko-chan has both knowledge and faith in our abilities, she can likely predict our actions just as much as her teammates at a faster rate than my emperor eye."

"But wouldn't Kurokocchi not be able to predict someone she can't see." Kise chimed in, thinking about the limitation of his own copying abilities.

"That is where Takao comes into play." Akashi replied, "Takao did mention during the tour that Kuroko-chan was helping to train his hawk eye. She was possibly training analyzation."

"I find that highly unlikely." Midorima argued, "Takao may be a decent enough player to be put as a starter but he has never demonstrated the brain capacity to predict another player move at a level such as yours or Kuroko."

"I doubt Takao would have had the time to showcase such ability due to the fact that he is a starter. He likely doesn't have the skill set needed to make predictions as quickly or as accurately as Kuroko or I while maintain his focus on the court to make effective plays." 

Red eyes made a quick glance to where Kazunari stood at the other team bench, "Kuroko-chan has purposefully sat him out for the first half so that Takao could take the time to study our movements. I doubt it will be up to Emperor eye level but it may be enough to tip the game into their favor."

"well even if Tetsu and Takao can read me they won't be able to stop me." 

"That's why Kagami main mark is you idiot." Midorima scoffed, "Only animals will behave in the same manners as you two do." 

Akashi looked at Murasakibara, "we're going to put you more on the offensive, Murasakibara. I cannot say if we can securely double our score but this should at least keep the gap from decreasing too much." 

"Ahh, but that's so troublesome, Aka-chin." The purple head giant whines, "Plus, what is Kuro-chin secret is something Aka-chin shouldn't know. Kuro-chin seems to be trying hard to keep it so."

"And what type of secret is Kuroko keeping that has her fighting so hard to keep." Midorima countered, " Kuroko, despite the years we have known her, has never shown any sign of great leadership capabilities. When the safety of her secret is threated, Kuroko not only demonstrates these hidden skills, but she can effectively put together a ragtag team like theirs and still manage to stand their ground against prodigal team like ours." His glasses glints off the lighting as Midorima adjust them, "A secret that requires this much effort and placing her family pride on the line has to be important." 

"Yeah, but that's kind of it, isn't it?" Aomine drawled, "Akashi gets to learn this big top secret if we double the score but what exactly do we get for our efforts?"

"I'm sorry," Akashi raised an eyebrow at the dark-skinned ace, "I was unaware I would need to convince you into facing Kagami." 

"Yeah," Aomine rubs his necks, "but some actual reward would be nice." 

Akashi sighs, "If we win I ask Kuroko-chan to call us by our first names. However, if we lose by single point I'll instruct your coaches to increase your training." Akashi glanced up, as red eyes glinting dangerously, "Understood?"

The four gulped, fearing the consequences of arguing with Akashi any further, especially considering when his left eye showed a speck of gold for a brief moment. But they rather have Tetsuki saying their names if they do win that is....

Kagami & Aomine: *felt a shiver down their spine.*
