I walk around the large empty lounge area, finally finding a comfortable looking place to sit, and place myself on the couch. I look around the room and see the Bucky gets closer to the doors of the room.
He walks in and smiles at me, "Hey, you don't look too happy?" He asks me as he sits himself on the sofa with me. I smile a little and shrug, unable to tell him what's on my mind.
He gets himself more comfortable and smiles once more, "Trying to find the words can be hard. Don't force it." He tells me as he takes my cold hand into his warm one.
I nod at him, "Remember when I told you about that woman I liked? Like really liked." I begin to let my thoughts flow into words.
I nods at me, "Yeah. It's obvious it's Natasha, but continue." He tells me before chuckling a little but allows me to continue.
I look at the floor, "Yeah, well I told her and she told me that she'd be my girlfriend.." I tell the large man sat infront of me.
He nods a little, "That's great, but you don't seem happy about it." His deep but calming voice mumbles to me.
I tear up a little, overwhelmed by my feelings. "Yeah, and I feel like my blurting out may have caused her too feel obligated to be my girlfriend." I say to him, my voice cracking as I over think.
He nods and sits closer, "Y/n, you're an amazing person. And I understand why you feel like this, however I doubt she would say she'd be your partner if she didn't like you back." He tells me.
Shrugging, I tell him "But she could have felt-"
He stops me, "Y/n Barnes! You stop it." He tells me.
I nod and sit up from my slouched position, "Just tell her you think you guys should talk about it. He tells me.
I smile and sit with him. "Thanks Buck."
