Comfort My Love ~ Natasha

Tiredly, I walk back into the compound with Wanda, after a long mission in England. We walk together, "What you doing now then Y/n?" the witch asks me calmly.

I smile and yawn a little before telling her, "I'm gonna see Nat, she didn't message me while we were on our mission, which isn't normal." Then I hug her as she nods and leave to find Vision.

I look around the compound for the rooms or places I'd normally find her but she doesn't appear in any of them. Concerned, I go to our room. As I make my way to the room we share I find her in the corner.

The look on her face seems distressed and low. "My love?" I quietly say to not startle her. She doesn't reply. As she looks up at me, I notice the tears in her eyes.

Guilt rushes through my veins as I wasn't here. I quickly magic into to comfortable clothes and put my hair in a bun before sitting on the bed in the middle of the room.

She rests her chin on her crossed arms as more tears roll down her red cheeks. "Bubs.. are you okay?" I ask her, having a feeling she had a nightmare about her childhood the previous night while I was gone.

She nods as she stares at the floor. No words leaving her mouth. I sympathetically smiles then sit forward a little, "Do you wanna tell me?" I ask her trying not to push her to speak about it.

She looks at me once more then slowly crawls over from the corner to the bed and gets in my arms. "I understand if you don't, I know it's a touchy subject my dear.." I tell her reassuring her.

She nods in my arms and sits up a little. "I haven't slept.." She tell me as some more tears fill her eyes and drip down onto the bed. I nod listening too her and wipe her tears from her face with a soft tissue.

She sniffles, "The day after you left..I had a nightmare..one about the redroom.." She tells me wiping her nose on the long jumper she wears. I tilt my head as I hear her speak.

She looks away, "When they took me..from Yelena.." She quietly tells me. She stops talking and looks at me as I nod and listen, "What are you doing..?" She stumbles over her words a little as I pull her in.

She sighs a little, "This is nice.." She mumbles as she yawns and closes her sleepy looking eyes. "Why.." She asks me.

I smile and kiss her messy unwashed hair, "Comfort my love..everyone needs it.." I tell her as I hear small snores from her. I look at her asleep in my arms.

"I love you Natalia.." I tell her as I kiss her head once more and close my eyes.

She mumbles a little, "I love you too.." as she moves her head onto my chest as I lay back. I put a large blanket over us and hold her as we both sleep.
