Lunch

*Kat's Point of View*

Brendon: hey, when is your break?

Me: why?

Brendon: no reason :)

I quickly put my phone away as Mr. Hill comes into my aisle.

"Hey. I know you are off tomorrow but Sadie has a doctors appointment and we will be short a person. Do you think you can come in and work. It would just be at 11:00 to 12:00." He explains

"Sure" I say and he smiles and wanders off. I feel a soft tug on the back of my shirt, I turn around to see Tommy.

"Is it time Tommy?" I ask

"Story time" he says and pulls me to the kids corner. He grabs his little sister and they sit in front of me. They both hand me a book. I pull out the Star Wars book and made it more than just a story. I made the light saber sounds and Darth Vader noises to. They laughed and giggled. I grab Lucy's book and it is about Snow White. I grab my apple from my apron and at the part I take a bite and pretend to be sleeping. They get up and shake me. I pop at them and they giggle. I finish with their stories and there mom comes in and she hands me twenty

"Thank you Kat" she says and Lucy and Tommy come and hug me.

"See you Monday" they say and their mother pulls them out the door and they all wave. I smile and walk back to my aisle.

"Miss" an old woman calls and catches my attention. I walk over and she is looking at a book. "Have you read this book?"

I look at the cover "The way in which they left by Jon Henry" I smile. "Yes and it is one of my favorites."

She smiles and I take her to check out "you know there is going to be a third book" I say and she writes number on a piece of paper and gives it to me.

"I guess you're going to have to call me when it comes in. But for now I will just like the these two" she says and thanks me and walks out the door.

Later all I do is just put back all of the toys and books back into the kids corner. Before I can register what is going on a pair of arms wrap around my waist. The arms wrap loosely and the growl.

"Hey kitty Kat" Brendon says I turn around and he has his hands on waist still. "Here to take me to lunch?" I ask

"You are correct" he says. I smile and go to the back and put my apron up and I get called and I go into Mr.Hills office and he puts his papers down.

"Kat since you are coming in tomorrow. I'm going to let you off early today" he says

"Thank you" I say and walk out but break into a run back out.

"what is going on?" Brendon asks

"I'm all yours for the rest of the day Mr. Urie" I say and a smile breaks in face. He grabs my hand and pulls me out to his at and opens the door for me and runs to his side. He slides in and starts the car and drives out of the parking lot. He drives a few miles away and pulls into a panera bread.

"You hungry?" He asks me. If as if answering my stomach grumbles. "Ok just don't hurt me"

I giggle "come on let's go get food" I say and get out and he gets out and grabs my hand before locking his car. We get into line and order and he pays, he pulls me to a table by a window.

He sits and stares into my eyes. I look into his brown eyes and he stares right back into my green.

"I have something for you" I say and look away and go into my bag and pull out a book.i hand it to him and he smiles.

"The Scorch Trials, second book to Maze Runner they escaped but thy were safe in the maze" he reads out loud. I smile. "How did you know I read the first one?"

I blush "It was on you Twitter"

"Brendon" the lady over the order machine announces. He gets up and goes and grabs the order and comes back with our food. We start to eat and he gets a phone call. He was going to let it ring.

"Brendon you can answer it" he smiles and gets up and slides his screen to answer it.

"Spencer hey what do you need?" Brendon asks "Um just having lunch"

I grab out phone and go onto Instagram and look and see what is going on.
