       Aurelia

Although I was starting to like humans, there was still a war against them. This is a war that goes through thousands of years of dispute.

The girl and her two friends are abiding by the rules. Maverick, however seems to not be trusting.

I was about to confront him, but then my mirror lit up signaling a message.

I was shocked to see my fathers face on the mirror.

"My dearest Aurelia."

"Hello Father."

I tried to hide my startled expression, but father never calls.

"Is everything alright?" I asked

"No."

My heart started pounding. My years of battle training kicked in and I was about to start asking questions when father interrupted me.

"I am with the Rungholt Union."

Oh no. Was father captured again? Did they take him prisoner? Was he alright?

"Father! Did they take you prisoner?"

Rungholt Union has been our rival ever since the dawn of time. Yes humans are our ultimate competitors, but Rungholt has always despised us because we were the bigger realm. They have tried to capture the royals many times. They have never succeeded. Their army is too weak. When my brother was taken, things between us only worsened.

My father thinks that they kidnapped my brother and that the humans have never had anything to do with it. I believe otherwise.
