Maverick POV (I know finally!)
Knowing Hazel, this secret mission could not be good.
"So what exactly do you want me to on this mission?" I asked
"You my dear friend are going to be the King of Gunkadeit for one night."Hazel said with an evil smirk on her face.
There is the Hazel that I know.
'You want me to do what?" I said frazzled
"Its simple. You put on his fancy attire, then we paint your face their skin color, and then we escort you downstairs."
Hazel said making it sound way too easy"And why would I do that?" I asked now amused
"Because. We don't have time to explain since you have to be down stairs in T-minus 17 minutes." Hazel said
"So you want me to do everything like the King would?"
Yes." Hazel said
"I can't stay down there for the whole banquet."
"Fine we will come down after the main course and you just act like you're sick. Deal or no deal?"
"Deal, but I don't think I would have had a choice either way." I said bluntly
"No, no you wouldn't have."
Hazel quickly ran into the closet and grabbed the biggest furs and clothes imaginable.
Seriously this guys clothes could house a small family.
Hazel started throwing things at me that I was assuming were clothes, but I wasn't sure.
"I don't even know where some of this stuff goes on my body." I said
"Aurelia will show you." Hazel gestured to Aurelia who was sitting by the window with a sad expression on her face
I went to take a second look when Hazel started throwing some light grey stuff onto my face.
"What is this stuff?" I said
It smelled like skunk.
"Just some mud." Hazel said, her cheeks getting red
I knew it was something else but I let it go.
There was something seriously wrong with Aurelia.
She didn't look at me and she didn't even say anything when we started ripping her fathers closet apart.
"Ok. You are done my masterpiece." Hazel said as she clapped her hands together.
I have to admit I did look like the guy after all.
"Ok so now what?" I asked, wanting to get my mind off of the fact that I had some weird stuff smeared onto my face.
"You have to put on your special belts and swords." Aurelia said
I was happy to see her talk, but something still looked really wrong.
Aurelia put the belts and stuff on me.
They were extremely heavy.
"Ok so now time to see your guests." Hazel and Aurelia said.
"Great." I muttered sarcastically
I walked down the never ending hallways and the guards opened the gate for me.
Hazel had to put on her "costume."
I walked into the room and I felt like bursting out in laughter.
I am going to make a complete fool out of the King I thought.
And then it hit me.
Where was the King?
