I was in total shock. I mean Aurelia's father was so kind and caring.

He always wanted the best for Gunekadeit.

I was in the room for a few minutes and then Aurelia saw me.

I tried to duck but she knew I was there.

I wanted to give her a hug, she sure looked like she needed one.

Aurelia eyes were puffy from crying so hard and her lip quivered. She was a total wreck.

Even though I had only known Aurelia for a short time, I hated to see her like this.

Knowing that she was in so much pain was terrible. What was even worse was that this pain was her fathers doing.

How could someone so kind and sweet be so ignorant and cruel as to betray his own realm.

Aurelia looked at me and shouted.

It startled me and I jumped back.

"Why are you here?" she asked.

I didn't answer because I was too frightened.

"I asked you why you are here. Do not make me ask again." Aurelia demanded

"I was here to tell you that dinner was ready, and that the guests request your fathers presence." I said

As soon as those words left my mouth I felt awful.

Aurelia's eyes darted from one place to another and I didn't know what to think.

"What do I do, what do I do? How do I tell the people that their King has betrayed them?"

"Well you are certainly in no way able to address a crowd right now."

"I know. I don't know whether to cry or break out in rage."

"You have my support, Aurelia."

And then it hit me.

"I have an idea but I may need Mavericks help." I was surprised to feel a smirk on my face.

I told Aurelia my plan and she almost died of laughter which made my happy because I certainly did not like seeing her upset.

I walked out of the castle in full out stealth mode.

I slowly roamed throughout the courtyard trying to find Maverick.

I felt like a five year old on Halloween night dressed up like a ninja.

Then out of the corner of my eye I saw him walking around nonchalantly.

I did a small forward roll and then bumped my head on some coral, laughing in the process.

I jumped up and tip toed over to him.

"Oh Maverick dear" I said in a sing song voice.

He turned around and looked at me with a puzzled face.

"Yes Hazel" he said mimicking my voice.

"I need you for a special mission. A secret mission."

I was getting way into being a ninja.

"And this mission might be?" Maverick said

"I can't tell you here! All these people. My goodness Maverick you are going to blow my whole operation!"

"What are you talking about?" Maverick asked seeming amused.

And then the words that I have been holding in for the past five minutes popped out.

"I am a ninja and you must follow me."

I grabbed his arm and tugged him back toward the castle.

We had to be cautious because we were going through the main entrance where al the guests were awaiting the "Kings" arrival.

"Put your head down and follow me." I whispered

Maverick did as I told him and we pushed our way through the crowd.

I brought him up to the room where Aurelia was waiting.

"Ok so now that you have become a ninja and we have come to the King's castle, can you tell me what I am doing here?"

Aurelia's face turned bright red when Maverick said ninja and I thought I was going to burst out in laughter.

"You are going to help us with our secret mission."
