Ciel was riding through the streets of London in a carriage driven by Sebastian, in his hand was a letter from the Queen.
The London streets were filled with fog, the clock tower chimed in the distance as other carriages drove down the streets.
Soon, the carriage stopped in front of a house in London, Sebastian and Ciel walked up the steps to the front door.
"I hate this, there are too many people in London" Ciel grumbled.
Sebastian simply smiled and held the front door open for him.
"There's no helping it, my Lord. It's tradition for nobility to migrate to town from the country every season"
"The season eh? A waste of time if you ask me" Ciel followed Sebastian up a set of spiral stairs
"Getting away from the manor could prove a nice change of pace. It's a break from those four, at least" Sebastian stated, referring to the other Phantomhive servants.
"We can enjoy a little peace and quiet for a time"
Sebastian and Ciel approached a door and Sebastian swung it open.
"Some peace and quiet does sound nice" Ciel sighed softly, thinking it would be nice to have some time for himself, but his eyes widened when the door was opened, the room was a complete mess.
Inside the room, Madame Red and Lao were looking for some tea.
"For goodness sake! Where do they keep the tea in this house?" Madam Red grumbled, going through a cabinet.
"I can't find it either" Lao was holding a flower printed vase.
Sebastian and Ciel both deadpanned.
So much for peace and quiet. Ciel thought to himself.
"Don't be silly! Of course it's not in there!" Madam Red exclaimed, groaning in frustration.
"Madam Red, Lao?! Why are you here?" Ciel exclaimed
Lao and Madam red turned to face the young Earl. "Ciel, you're early, dear" she said with a smile.
Lao smiled as well. "Your sudden appearance here in town must mean..."
"The Queen's guard dog has a new scent to follow" Madam Red concluded.
Ciel sat with Madam Red and Lao at a table, he drank a cup of tea, Sebastian standing beside him.
"He's struck again, another prostitute has been found gruesomely murdered in White Chapal these killings are far from normal. The level of violence we're seeing is unprecedented"
"The most recent victim was a woman named Marianne Nichols. It appears a special type of blade was used on her. She was torn up beyond recognition" Sebastian added in as Ciel took a bite of blackberry cheesecake.
"The murderer's distinctive style of killing has earned him a unique nickname from the press. Jack the ripper" Ciel informed.
"A frightening name, eh?" Lao asked with a frown.
