"Holiday! Holiday! We're going on holiday! Holiday! Holiday! We're going on holiday!" Finny, Bard and Meyrin all cheered in unison.

"This is so exciting! I can't believe it!" Finny exclaimed.

"Spectacular! He's actually bringing us! We get to go on holiday at the Queen's own resort!" Meyrin squealed.

"Looks like the young master can be quite generous when the spirit moves him, eh?" Bard said with a smile.

Finny and Meyrin nodded in agreement.

Sebastian was driving a carriage with Ciel sitting behind him, a warm smile on his face. "Do you hear how happy they are? They're very greatful. Such a kind young master" he glanced over his shoulder at Ciel, a more teasing smile replacing his previous one.

"I couldn't leave them there alone. I might come home to find the manor in shambles" Ciel grumbled.

"Indeed"

The two carriages soon came upon an old wooden sign that read Welcome to Houndsworth

Sebastian looked over his shoulder again at the carriage that had parked behind him.

"It seems we have arrived at the village, everyone"

"All right!" Finny, Bard and Meyrin exclaimed in excitement, however, when they saw how dreary the village looked, their excitement quickly faded.

There was a large dead tree, skeleton remains were scattered around it and old dog collars were hanging by the branches on chains.

The three servants all screamed.

"Oh yes, I forgot to mention something. The resort, it has yet to be constructed" Ciel said nonchalantly.

"Yes, master" the servants were extremely disappointed.

"A holiday young master? In this season?" Sebastian asked curiously, standing in front of Ciel's desk in his study as he sipped on his tea.

"Yes, indeed" Ciel set his teacup down on its saucer and looked at Sebastian seriously. "Tell me, have you ever heard of a pass time known as bear baiting?" he asked

"The notion does sound entertaining. But I'm afraid I've not heard of it. Indulge me, sir"

"A bear is chained to a fence, it is then surrounded by vicious dogs, which slowly bite and kill it" Ciel explained.

"That sounds like something that only a human could dream up"

"It was banned back in 1835 when the cruelty to animals act was enstated, however there was still a loophole. The attack dogs that they used were not banned. So a new game developed"

Sebastian placed his fingers to his chin. "They use dogs to attack dogs. Let's see. Would that be dog baiting?"

"There is a village in which it's quite popular, known as Houndsworth. It is long since known for raising fierce hunting dogs, but they take it further. It breaks Her Majesty's heart. So, we'll secure the village as land for a royal estate. A simple pretext to end the atrocities" Ciel folded his hands and closed his eyes.
