~Victory's POV~

I watch as they cremate my mothers body, later today I'm going to take her ashes to the ocean to spread them. Tears come down my face as I lose the memory of my mother. My father or should I say ex father is with his new wife and new daughter, not even three days after her death the two get married. He marries the town whore and takes in her brat of a daughter. The only good thing is that they get nothing, mom made it very clear in her will that Phil gets nothing. That it all goes to me.

"Sweetie" I hear Phil come in, I see in the mirror that his hair is disheveled. Scowling, I look over to him "oh sweetie" he comes over towards me.

"Don't" I warn when he tries to give me a hug "go back to your real family" he grabs my arm as I turn to leave.

"What does that mean?" He demands

"Just like I said" I yank my arm back "I want you out of my life, if I ever see you again I will fucking destroy you" I leave the room especially when Renee and her bitch of a daughter Bella comes inside. I bump the both of them, because of how clumsy Bella is she falls to the floor.

~Time Skip~

It's the reading of my mothers will, Phil and his new family are here. As my mothers attorney tells us how much money my mother had along with her assets, you can practically see Renee and Bella salivate over it. You know the saying, like mother like daughter. Bella is a worse version of Renee, I mean Renee only slept with Bella's father because Bella's grandfather was rich. Mom in had a PI hired to look into Renee when she first introduced herself to Phil, mom didn't trust her and she had a right not to.

Turned out Bella's mother, Renee, she slept with Charlie Swan because his father like I said was rich. That when Bella was born, Charlie's father had a paternity test done since he didn't believe Bella was Charlie's daughter. He was right, so he paid Renee enough money to leave but she kept claiming Bella was Charlie's. Charlie accepted it but his father didn't. I mean, Charlie is a delusional human from what I have read. That he takes everything that he has for granted. When his father died, Charlie expected to be paid money but wasn't. His father's will stated that the money be given to charity, Renee had an absolute fit about that.

"In the late Ondina Ocean's will" the attorney finally gets to it "everything she has will be given to her only daughter Victory Dwyer" everyone looks at me, Bella and Renee in shock and anger.

"I'm sorry" Renee asks "but what do you mean everything goes to her? Doesn't Phil get anything?"

"No" shaking his head

"You've got to be fucking kidding me" Bella screams in outrage "this isn't fair!"
