~Tory's POV~

"What does the meaning 'I never want to fucking see you again' do you not understand?" I have my arms crossed as I'm at the front door to my beach house in Florida. My ex father Phil and his gold digging wife Renee stand before me with their bags behind them.

"Tory" I slap Renee across the face, Phil holds onto Renee to keep her from falling since I hit her hard enough that she should be on the ground.

"That's Victory to you" leaning my body against the doorframe "now you have ten seconds to get the fuck off my property or else I'm calling the authorities"

"Tory" Phil pleads "please, we need your help. Between paying Bella's medical bills"

"Which you refused to help with" Renee adds, Phil covers her mouth with his hand to keep from pissing me off more.

"And trying to find a new house" Phil adds "we just need a place to stay"

"Got to a motel" I pull my phone out "now off my property" closing my door I make sure the two leave, ever since mom died years ago Renee and Bella have tried to get on my good side but only for the money my mom left. Phil has tried to talk to me but I push him away, even though mom died in a car crash Phil could have mourned with me...but instead he went and married Renee. There was already enough proof that Phil and Renee were fucking before mom died, but to marry after her death is an insult to not just her but to your daughter as well.

I heard Bella, Renee's daughter is just like her mother. Bella apparently got a boyfriend whose father is this rich doctor and his mother this rich architect, plus they have many investments so they are crazy rich. So I wouldn't be surprised if Bella fucks the guy and tries to trap him with his kid, but the thing is not everyone wants kids. So Bella maybe going at the angle where she has the kind but has the parents of her boyfriend to pay her big time so that she doesn't tell Edward she had the baby. She might even give the baby up and keep all the money she got to herself.

When the doorbell rings again, I groan and open it to see Phil and Renee still there so I close the door and call the police. When I do, I tell them how I have trespassers and that they won't leave. So five minutes later I watch as Renee and Phil are escorted off my property, one more thing I need to do is file a restraining order. But I'll do that tomorrow, right now I need to finish my homework for my marine biology course.

"Who was at the door?" My boyfriend Mason walks out in a towel, like me Mason is a siren. See a thing about sirens is that they can be both male and female while there are only female mermaids. I don't know why but I have never seen or heard of a merman, so I can only guess that they are a needle in a haystack or they don't exist. Some similarities and differences between us is that we can breath underwater but mermaids can't sing, when I mean they can't sing I mean they can't. Their voices sound enchanting but they cannot sing, only sirens can. Mermaids prefer the ocean while is Sirens love both the land and ocean, also if a mermaid does go on land they have to do a spell to have legs. Sirens can control the water but mermaids can control the weather. One last thing that makes us similar is that when a mermaid is on land to procreate they become more beautiful to be around and that their skin glows, while for us sirens it's the same but it's monthly. Mermaids can choose when they decide to procreate, us sirens it's not. Think of it like a mortal woman going through their menstrual cycle. Oh! I almost forgot, one more thing that makes us similar is that we drink human blood. Some sirens do eat human flesh like mermaids but we prefer the blood to the bone, our teeth even become sharper. Think of a sharks teeth and how pointy they are, that's what my teeth look like when I bite down on someone.

"Solicitors" replying "done showering?"

"Yeah" I grab my towel and go to take a show next.
