Ch 10- Venom

I walked into school and walked to my locker, Peter was already there. "Hey, you." I greeted him with.  He smiled and I opened my locker. "So Y/n I was wondering if you wanted to go to Delmars after school today?" I closed my locker and looked at him "Sure! I'd love to." He leant down and pecked my lips. "Great! Wana head to class?" I chuckled and then intertwined my fingers with his "Obviously."

Me and Peter walked into the class still holding hands. When we walked in everyone was staring at us. Me and Peter looked at each other confused. Peter and I aren't popular kids so we're used to having everyone ignore us, having everyone actually pay attention to us is weird. I looked over at MJ and she was eagerly motioning for us to sit next to her and Ned.

"So why is everyone staring at us?" I asked

MJ nervously grabbed out her phone and pulled up what made this week's school news blog.

It read  "Y/n and Peter Parker are now officially a couple, an unusual couple I'd say both had a hand in hurting Flash Thompson who has to now elect out of this foot ball season for the recovery of his arm." Under it, there was a picture of when Peter kissed me this morning. How'd they get that in the blog that fast?! I didn't see any cameras.

I gulped, this can't be happening.

"So what happened?" Ned said breaking the silence.
I nodded at Peter to tell the story.

"I was walking out of school and Flash stopped me. Then he pushed me into some lockers, like really pushed me, it left a huge dent in the lockers"

"Yeah and then I tried to stop him and he threw me into a wall."

"That's when I grabbed Flash's arm and may or may not of thrown him half way across the hallway."

Ned and MJ looked at each other when we were done. Then replied "Well why didn't you just throw him off you in the first place Peter?" MJ asked. Peter opened his mouth to answer but I answered for him.

"Because when you have powers you can't exactly go using them every time there's a little inconvenience."

Ned and MJ looked at me puzzled. Peter just looked from me to Ned and MJ and back.

"What she means is thats probably what it's like from my prospective. You know? Cuz she doesn't see me just using my super strength all the time or....." MJ raised her hand to stop Peter from rambling on. "So you think there's something wrong with Flash?" Ned chipped in. "Exactly" Peter and I said at the same time. Me and Peter looked at each other and smiled, MJ pretended to barf and everyone laughed. Then Peter pushed my chair and a tray came flying in between us. I looked in the direction it came in and Flash was standing there fuming.

I looked a Peter with a panicked expression. He returned it before standing up and heading to Flash.

"Hey buddy wana tell my we almost got hit by a tray?" Flash turned his head to Peter and reached his fist out, as his arm extended black goop started to envelop his arm when his fist made contact with Peter's chest I looked back at where Flash Thompson was now stood there was Venom.

I immediately turned around to Ned and MJ. "You guys get everyone out of here." I went to turn around but MJ grabbed my wrist. "Are you crazy?! You have to come with us!" I looked nervously at the broken wall that Peter was thrown into then at Venom then back to MJ "I have to make sure Peter is ok." MJ lowered her voice to a harsh whisper "Y/n you know Peter can take care of himself." I pulled away from MJ's grip and started running in Peter's direction "Get everyone out of here!" I repeated.

"Peter!" I stepped through the wall and found Peter in his Spiderman suit holding his ribs. "Are you ok?" He looked up at me and tried playing it off by leaning against the lockers and putting his other arm on top of the one holding his ribs. "Yeah I'm totally fine. Quick question though, What is that thing and what did it do to Flash."
