Ch 1- A New Avenger

(Y/n pov)
Math. The most boring class of the day. I mean when are you ever going to use this in real life? But then again it's easy for me so it's kinda like an easy A. The kid in front of me isn't even paying attention he's just watching videos of spiderman with his head down. "Ok, So how do we calculate linear acceleration between points A and B?" The teacher asked.  No one had their hand up so I raised my hand only for Flash to raise  his at the same time and the teacher called him. He got it wrong. I rolled my eyes went to raise my hand again when she called on the kid infront of me. This kids in trouble I thought. He wasn't even paying attention. "Mass cancels out so it's just gravity times sign." The boy said. Wow he actually got it right. And he wasn't even paying attention, he seemed to really like spiderman. "Right. See flash being the fastest isn't always the best if you are wrong." Dang the teacher called him out on that one. He looked as if his ego got hurt. Which it probably did. He turned to the kid that one upped him and whispered "You're dead" I've had enough of this kid. I tap the boy on the shoulder and said "don't listen to him, he says he's smart but he's too dumb to realize there can be people smarter then him" the boy smiled while Flash rolled his eyes and faced forwards in his seat. "T-thanks." He seemed really nervous "Any time. I just can't stand bullies." With that we both turned out attention back to the teacher and sat through the rest of the boring lesson. After that long and boring class was over it was time for lunch after I was looking for a table and accidentally made eye contact with the kid from my last class. I started to walk away but then I heard my friend MJ call put my name. "Y/n! Hey come sit with us." By us she meant her, the kid from my last class, and someone I assumed was their friend. I didn't want to be rude so I went to sit with them. It was either that or go eat outside because there were no open tables. "Y/n? So that's your name?" I turned to the boy. "Uhh ya, hi." I said as I sat down. "Oh I'm Peter Parker by the way." "Nice to meet you, Peter." I replied.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw MJ flashing her eyes between me and Peter. What was that about? "Im Ned, Ned Leeds." "Hi!" Then we started talking about current events and MJ was warning me not to use a certain bathroom. Something came to me. I have a science project that mine and Peter's teacher said we had to group up for. I didn't know anyone else in the class so I decided I was going to ask Peter. "Hey Peter, do you wana-" and just with my luck the bell rang. I got up to throw my tray away. Ned and MJ walked away while Peter stayed behind. "So what did you want to ask me?" I looked at him and was about to finish what I was saying but then I stopped my self. What if he already has a partner? Why would he want to do it with me? "Um nevermind it's not very important" and just like that I left the cafeteria and I heard Peter yell out "I'll see you tomorrow" I just laughed and went to my next class.
        [Time skip to when Y/n is home]
"I'm home" "How was school?" My dad answered back."Meet any boys?" He said before I even had a chance to answer.
"What?! No. I mean-" "Leave her alone Tony." My mom (Pepper Potts) said. "Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to my room" as I ran up the stairs I heard my dad's voice fading "you see that she didn't answer the question!" Just as I closed my door and pit my backpack down F.R.I.D.A.Y beeped in my room. "Miss.Stark your father has requested that you meet him at the lower level."
"Aw come on F.R.I.D.A.Y I don't feel like going back down the stairs." "Mr.Stark insists you do. He has an announcement" this was my equivalent of getting the TV remote while it's right infront of a parent because their "to lazy". I went back down stairs and waited for my dad to come in the living room. "Right. I wanted to tell you we are recruiting a new avenger." I tried to contain my excitement but my dad knows me better then anyone. "I know you get excited for these things so I decided you can come tonight." At this point I wanted to squeal and jump in excitement this was the first time he'd ever let me join. But instead I collected myself. "Alright I'll go get ready." "Suprised you didn't squeal." He told me. I playfully gasped and dramatically put my hand on my heart. "Me? Please!" I laughed and then I went up stairs and got ready.
       [Fast forward, the recuit is here]
"Ok, I'm ready" I say as I walk down the stairs. I looked around and the avengers were all having fun, laughing and drinking. But I didn't see my dad. As if in que he came in and said "Everyone meet Spiderman the new recruit." Spiderman was in his suite but he didn't have his mask on. My dad continued to introduce him "Also know as-" "Peter?!" I interrupted him with. Peter look at the stairs where I was and was shocked. "Y/n what are you doing here?" "I'm a Stark." The whole room fell silent and everyone was looking at us. Wanda broke the silence "How about the two of you go hang out and get to know each other a little better while us adults talk?"
Peter looked at me and I motioned for him to follow me.
