Every conversation where the name Madeline came up you would also hear Henry. They were inseparable and the perfect example of a loving married couple. Henry supported Madeline with her dreams of becoming a professional violinist and she always believed in Henry. One Monday afternoon Madeline started to feel extremely nauseous and of course she thought that it was a fever. She laid down the entire day and waited for it to drift away.
The next morning she was perfectly fine but started to get sick at the smell of any kind of food. Henry noticed this so they both went to the hospital together. After waiting for a while the doctor announced that Madeline was pregnant. Henry was crying and excited but Madeline was in shock. Her face was still and she stood expressionless. Madeline was only 23 and she had her whole life ahead of her, she didn't have time for a kid.
The whole car ride home all she thought of was if she never married Henry she would never have gotten pregnant. After entering the house she slammed the door shut shouting "it's all your fault" to Henry. Instead of overreacting Henry stayed outside of the door and reassured Madeline that everything would be alright. By the time Madeline walked out of the bathroom it was 12 am and when she turned her head she saw Henry sleeping outside of the door.
She walked to the bathroom and carried out a blanket and put it on Henry. Henry looked over and slowly brushed her face and smiled before falling back asleep. Then Madeline leaned on Henry and said "Do you think we'll be good parents Henry? I'm worried because we're so young." Henry held Madeline's hand and simply said the best and they both drifted off to sleep.
