A strange fog began to darken Americana that day, and Emlyn was very concerned. Stella disappeared after their fight, and she was left alone to figure out the problem. Well, alone, except for Ginger, who seemed all too eager to help. Emlyn wondered if maybe Stella was right, but she pushed the idea out of her mind. This was not a time to question loyalties but a time to solve a curious problem.
"What do you think it is?" Emlyn asked Ginger as they watched the fog roll in from the window of The White Castle.
"I'm not sure; maybe the weather just hasn't settled after Camilla's tyranny," Ginger suggested, and Emlyn sighed.
"Maybe, you don't think it's a curse, do you?" She asked Ginger, who could hear the nervousness in her tone.
"No, you sent her back to the other realm, right? Unless there's a way she can come back here so quickly, I doubt that's what it is. Unless there's maybe someone else you think might be a threat?" She responded to Emlyn carefully; she didn't want to reveal what she really knew.
"I don't think I have any other enemies, at least I hope not. Let's hope it's only the weather still not settling for now unless something else comes up." Emlyn replied with a sigh and sent Ginger away. She watched the fog from the window, wishing Stella was by her side.

Stella, on the hand, was in the fairytale realm, and she had gathered Bob, Sarah, and Mystic together. "We need to get to Horrace, there's this girl Ginger, and I'm positive she's not a friend," Stella explained to her friends.
"Let's go then; there's no time to waste; we all remember Horrace's warning." The Storytellers headed for the castle to enlist the help of Horrace.
Horrace had already seen Camilla enter Americana and sent a dove with a message to warn Emlyn of her return. Unbeknownst to him, she had, in fact, made a friend in Ginger who was anything but a friend. The Storytellers hoped they would make it in time before something disastrous happened, but with every passing moment, Camilla grew stronger.
Her spell was almost complete, and soon Americana would be fast asleep; her plan for Emlyn and the world was only just beginning.
