Chapter 6: Disapearred

Kayli's POV

I slammed my front door. I decided to leave all once and for all. I ran up to my room and didn't notice that I was crying, even sobbing. I closed and locked my door as I pulled out a duffle bag and stuffed whatever I could find in it.

I stuffed everything that I thought I would need in it. I opened my door and went to the stairs but stopped when I heard the front door open. Shit.. I forgot to lock it.
"Kayli!!!" I heard Melissa yell my name.
"Kayli!! Where are you!!" Alyssa yelled. Then I heard the door bust open.
"IM HERE!!!" Izzy yelled probably standing in a super hero pose, "I was too busy beating the crap out of Aaron."
I just stood there at the stairs. Asking myself questions.

Why did they come after me?

Why did Izzy make herself sound like a super hero?

Weird.......... That's all I'm thinking, ESPECIALLY SINCE MY DOOR IS NOW BROKEN!! But I'm not gonna live here anymore so it doesn't matter anymore. I heard running coming towards the stairs so I ran and locked myself in my parents old bedroom, which was probably a bad idea.

I looked around in the drawers and closets, and I found my father's old pocket knife that he had for emergencies. I put that in my duffle bag when I heard whispers on the other side of the door.
"Just let me do it!!" I heard someone say as the door was kicked open, "I'm here.. Again."
"Really Izzy." Melissa said as I backed up towards the window.
"Izzy is that how... MY DOOR IS BROKEN!!!" I yelled but I was trying not to laugh from Izzy's humor.
"I blame Melissa!" She said pointing at Melissa.
"That's just a bunch of poop!!" Melissa shouted. I opened the window and sat on the windowsill.
"Stop!! Guys look!!" Alyssa yelled breaking the argument, which I guess it was, and pointed at me sitting on the windowsill. They looked and they all ran towards me as I jumped to a nearby tree, and jumped down. But I felt someone catch me when I jumped down. I looked up to see Aaron. WHAT!!!! THE!!!!!! FUCK!!!!!

"Hey? Why did you jump out of a tree?" Aaron asked me as he put me down and saw my bag, "What's with the bag?"
"I'm a squirrel! Why else would I jump out of a tree!!" I yelled as I ignored his other question.
"AARON!!! DONT LET HER LEAVE!!!" Melissa yelled from the window as I took off running.
"Damn it! I didn't know!" He said blaming himself.
"AARON!! INSTEAD OF STANDING THERE LIKE AN IDIOT!! CATCH HER!!" Izzy yelled as she jumped out the window onto the tree. She jumped off as Melissa and Alyssa ran out the front door.

I ran and ran as fast as I could. I wanted to get out of town as soon as possible!! I can't stay! I started getting tired but heard people calling my name, I turned around to see everyone running towards me. I didn't care if I was tired, I ran again as I ignored the pain in my legs.
"I don't care... What happens to me..." I panted as I kept running.

I got out of town and ran down the road, avoiding cars. A few cursed at me and some tried to help, but I refused to listen. My parents would be scared to death if I did this, if they were still alive. I kept repeating the same words in my head, "I don't care what happens to me." That's when I had an idea, but if I'm still alive, I'll die anyway.
