Ndola: Lucia's house

hey honey welcome home.

thanks ma... How are you?

"good dear, how was work?"

"It was great. It's better than working at the boutique."

" that's amazing."

And where are the little girls?

They are spending the weekend at your grandma's house.

Alrighty that's better, those two are so troublesome.

" Just like you were hahahahahaha....." Her mother laughed.

" no way.
By the Way i am not hungry so good night."

it's too early to sleep.. are you tired.

just a bit was Lucia's response

alright good night my dear.

   

  

   

LA: Shaun's house.

"Zambia!!....... So when are we supposed to leave?" Shaun asked.

"Tomorrow" Michael replied.

" So soon?" Shaun questioned.

well yes, so you have to pack your  things today. I have already packed mine.

alright let me just put things in order at the office, mum is on vacation.

alright boss i will now take my leave.

 

  Author's P.O.V

Shaun handed over all his work to his cousin Jason and packed all that was required for his vacation. The following day he and his manager went to the airport and got on the plane 45 minutes after arriving at the airport. They landed in Ethiopia and later got on another plane to Zambia.

 

Ndola: at the hotel
"Welcome to Zambia Mr knight" greeted the hotel manager.

"Thank you," he responded.

" And how was  your flight?" The hotel manager asked.

it was all great.

here is the room card to your room.

Shaun got his room card and his bodyguards took his bags to his room. Meanwhile Michael his manager went to his own room. Shaun's room was on the fourth floor, it was the biggest with a very beautiful view.

Michael's room was just normal and after he settled in, he went to see Shaun to inform him on his daily schedule.

  so you are saying that this will be my schedule for the whole month.

  yes boss starting tomorrow.

   i'm seriously going to be tired but i just hope this will be fun.

  i hope so too.......
It's time for supper, so are you going to just order or you will go to the restaurant downstairs? Michael asked

   i think I will just go to the restaurant, i want to look around and become familiar with this place.

   "Alright then, shall we?" Michael responded.

Shaun answered, "let's go".

   

    Shaun and Michael went downstairs and sat on a table for two. After some seconds a waiter handed them the menu which they went through and the food was served in 20 minutes.

   As they were eating, Shaun saw a beautiful waitress pass by. He was stunned for almost a minute, " are my eyes playing tricks on me?" He asked himself. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Michael also observed how lost Shaun was so he asked him, " boss is everything alright? You seem lost in your own thoughts".
Shaun responded, " it's nothing, i am alrighty."

Shaun tried by all means to compose himself and lucky enough he managed to concentrate on something else. He decided to distract himself by making a conversation with Michael." So Michael have you ever been to an African country before.?" He asked.

" Well yes, i went to south Africa six months ago." Michael answered with a smile and sparkling eyes.

  Well judging by how you are smiling it must have been a wonderful vacation.

   " yes it was, that's where I met my woman." Michael couldn't help but smile widely at the mention of his woman. " Maybe you will meet yours here." He added.

  At the thought of this Shaun looked around hoping to see her again but she was no where  to be seen.

  He then responded, " i don't think so. Love isn't on my side. Maybe i was destined to be alone.

   
no way boss, everyone is destined to be with someone and i'm sure you will find her soon.

Shaun's P.O.V
I just hope that Michael's words are true. My heart is so tired of being used. How does it feel to be loved? Anyway i will give it one more try and if it doesn't work out then good bye love.

As Shaun was in a trance, a waitress tapped  his shoulder "excuse me sir, your friend is asking which dessert you would like to order."
  Shaun flinched then looked at the waitress  " OMG this is  the girl i saw earlier" he inwardly said to himself." No dessert for me" he responded in a shocked state.

" Alright then" the waitress left.

Michael didn't want to ask cause he knew  his boss wouldn't tell him anything so he just sighed softly.

 

Michael's dessert was brought after 5 minutes and all this while Shaun kept staring at the waitress. He couldn't take it anymore so he asked her, " what's your name?"  She responded, "my name is Lucia."
"Wow.....,  your name is as beautiful as you are." He complimented her.

"Thank you sir." She blushed.
"Enjoy your dessert."  she added then left.

"I guess someone is about to find love here" Michael didn't know he had said his thoughts out loud.

"What was that?" Shaun asked with a serious face.

" Nothing important" responded Michael with a grin.

Shaun heard all that Michael had said but he just decided to let the matter go. They finished eating and both went to their rooms. Michael slept early but Shaun couldn't sleep at all. His thoughts were in wonderland, having hallucinations about the girl he had seen. "That girl is such a beauty, she's is so hot." He said out loud to himself.

Author's P.O.V
Meanwhile Lucia went home and spent some time with her mum, apparently her little sisters were still at her grandmother's house.
She totally forgot about the man that had complimented her earlier. Well the reason to this is simple, she didn't want to think much about it cause she thought it was just a one time thing and she would never see that man again.
