LA: Shaun's house

"Good morning mum." Shaun greeted his mother.
"It's actually afternoon son, it's already 12:13pm. how  are you.? His mother asked.
"i am good thanks, just tired".
" didn't you get enough sleep?"
" i did but I still feel tired maybe it's because I had a lot of scenes yesterday."
"i guess that's the reason" Mrs knight responded......... Then she added, "Son I already told you to quit acting and take over the businesses, you know i am getting old and i need some one to help me.

   
Shaun loved acting and so quiting was not an option,  "mum i love acting, i can't quite and don't worry i will help you out with any office work". He assured her.
Alright son i'm off to work.

"wow being the C.E.O is amazing, you get to work when you want and no one can question you. I guess i  have to try being a boss."

"that's not true i was just settling down some issues in my study room.

Alright take care mum."

Ndola: Lucia's house
09:20pm
"wow .......... This food is so delicious, mum you are really the best cook in this world." Lucia said after swallowing her food.

    "yes sis she's the best." Mundi Lucia's immediate younger sister added with her mouth full of  pumpkin leaves mixed with dried groundnuts powder.

    "Do not speak with food in your mouth" her mother  Mrs Nkusechela  said as she slapped the back of her hand.

Chanda the youngest daughter just laughed at the sight of her sister being scolded. .mum can  i cook like you when I grow up?

" well yes i will teach you how to cook when you turn 14.  Anything for my kasuli-( last Born)." Mrs Nkusechela  smiled widely.

"alright mum." She smiled mockingly at her sisters who always told she would never know how to cook because she loved watching TV a lot.

 
But seriously, which 10 year old child doesn't like watching TV?Chanda is still a kid and watching TV is like eating candy.

"so today you  are not watching TV, you have to sleep early or you will  be late for school tomorrow." Mrs Nkusechela said.

" i can't wait to finish school so that I can watch TV all i want."  Was all she could say. She knew her mother's words were meant for  no one but her. So she  pretended to be sad and heartbroken.

"well i thank God  i'm done with school." Mundi said obviously directing her words at her little sister.

"wait a minute young lady, don't get too excited. you are going to college very soon." Lucia Finally shot mundi in her foot.

Oh no........i almost forgot about that...
But i still have time and i will make good use of it.

Mrs Nkusechela couldn't help but jump in the conversation. "don't forget to study hard when you go to college, your sister is really working hard to provide for this family. Don't let her down."

" mum come on you don't have to say all that, it's my responsibility to provide for this family, you don't have to make it sound as though you are a burden.

i just don't want her to forget. Was all Mrs Nkusechela  could say. She was not happy with how her eldest daughter worked so hard to provide for the family. Her heart was bleeding profusely.
