Rod: for your first day back at school wth else, this yo last year

Y/n: yeah ik it's my last year....but..I feel kinda anxious...like I'm not ready

Rod: why do you say that?

Y/n: yk like... I'm literally 16....ik it's not a huge difference but I feel like ion know enough like I'm not smart enough or sum.

Rod: ok ok listen, 16 is and isn't as big a difference from normal graduates. But, I do understand like cuz, it may feel like ur moving too fast or you may feel like life is moving to fast but trust me it's not.
Also I think you're a very intelligent but lazy girl.

I stared at Rodney for moment with a hurt smile but I knew he was right I don't like school at all. Even when I was a kid I hated school. Didn't like work didn't wanna do it. And even though I did I normally forget everything and don't give two shits abt it later.

Y/n: you're right, but this year I'm gonna make sure I stay focused and work hard this year 💪
