let me just start off with THANK YOU. for every comment, every vote, and every message i have received since publishing this book. i can't tell you how appreciative i am for the immense amount of support. there were so many times i thought that i was absolutely terrible at writing. i wanted to give up and just delete everything. but every time i was close to doing so, i would get a comment that said how I'm actually not that terrible and how important these characters and their story mean to you guys. thank you for everything.
laurel, cassie, and ethan aren't just characters that i thought of out of the blue. they are parts of me. i didn't know how much i have written of myself until wayyy later in the book. my connection to them is strong, and i honestly wish they were real lol. this story was a journey in my real life as i have realized things i didn't before writing them. this was therapeutic and has helped me grow so much. as a writer and as a person.
i hope i do my characters and the walking dead characters justice. i hope you guys loved this book & love the next one even more. i hope i can make you guys laugh, cry, and blush ;) i hope laurel's story is a break from the real world for you guys as it is for me.
