It's the last day of the UK leg today. I'm really sad that its ending but I have had lots of fun. Jay wakes me up with a gentle massage.
"Rise and shine Laura." he rubs my shoulder gently. I open my eyes. We can hear singing downstairs in the lounge.

"Someone is in a happy mood." I smile. We  can hear Tom singing oh what a beautiful morning in the bathroom. I feel a lot at ease that the boys are keeping me company and distracting from what may be happening with Nathan and the doctor. Tom comes back into the bedroom and gives me a hug.
"He'll be okay." Tom tells me. "Whatever happens we'll find a way. We never give up." We hear a door opening.
"Laura sweetie." We hear Jayne call. "The doctor's gone. Nathan wants you."
"He's okay." Siva assures me. I leave the boys bedroom. Jayne has a little talk before I go in.
"He's not fit to perform tonight. The doctor has said he's exhausted and needs to go home as soon as  he's able to. But he would like to talk to you." I head into the bedroom. Nathan is sat up in bed he looks visibly upset. But he's trying to not cry in front of me.
"Sweetie I just heard. I'm so sorry." I give him a hug.
"hey don't be sweetheart." Nathan smiles at me. "Come here." He takes hold of my hand. "I know I feel disappointed that I can't be with you tonight. But it's not long now. It's only one more night  until we have a break and then we'll be together again. Just remember everything that we've practised together all the songs I've taught you and tonight I want to put all of that to the test. There's something I want you to remember...." Nathan whispers something in my ear. I blush at what I'm hearing. "You're so talented. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Take this wear it for the show." I give her my burgundy shirt along with the tour tee for the encore. "Even though I may not physically be there. You'll always have a piece of me. I'll be thinking of you tonight. I'm not leaving you forever. When I'm feeling much better I'll come and see you again and I will make everything right. You have the boys with you. They'll look after you. Tomorrow I will be going home to Gloucester but that shouldn't be for long.  Just till I'm feeling better. I'll see you for my birthday. Just think of all the times we'll have together when I'm feeling better. For now I want to share this moment. I feel much happier when you're by my side. I feel like I need someone who's so kind to me. And who better than my girlfriend." I smile and stroke Nathan's hair. "I'm really happy you ended coming on tour with us. Glad we became friends."
"I love you, Nathan. I'm so pleased we're friends" Nathan gives me a hug.
"Me too. And I love you to my girl." He lays back down.
"Why don't get you some sleep." I suggest. "If you take it easy now, you'll be feeling better a lot quicker."
"Will you stay with me while I fall asleep?"
"Of course, I will." I promise him. "You'll be okay. Your mum will be coming to look after you, there's no one better than a mum. Did she say when she'll be coming."
"She's travelling up now." Nathan answers sleepily. "She'll stay here with me tonight and then we'll get the train home. It was so awful to listen to. As soon as the doctor left I rang her. Jayne explained everything to her. I just lay here and cried. I was so looking forward to performing with you."
"I know sweetie. I'm grateful for your company. But don't get upset we have plenty more shows when you're feeling better. Try not to think about it"
"He needs to see a doctor when he goes home." Jayne adds.
"Think positive darling." I tell him.
"I feel a lot better knowing my mum is going to be here." Nathan tells me. "She's going to make sure everything is okay."
"That's the way to think of it." I tell him. "Jayne's letting me stay with you for the afternoon. Your mum will look after you." Nathan nods and closes his eyes. I sit with him holding his hand. "I could not ask for a better boyfriend than you Nathan. You're so understanding, and you done a fantastic job looking after me and helping me be a stronger person." I glance down. Nathan has fallen asleep on my chest. I take off his glasses before I kiss his head gently. "Sleep now Nathan," I whisper to him. "Feel better soon." I sit on the bed with him snuggled on my chest. I place the throw on him to keep him warm.
"Bless him." I whisper.
"He's such a sweetheart." Jayne tells me.  "He gets his priorities right. Making sure you're okay. Always there if you need him. He's done a fantastic job helping you on the tour."
"He's like a big brother to me." I tell Jayne. "I'm an only child but I feel as though I always have a piece of home with me."
"The lads are in soundcheck at the minute. I've told them you'll be back for the show later. Once Nathan's mum gets here. I'll set you across."
"Thanks Jayne," I tell her. "I would hate anything to happen to him. He's my very best friend."
"Lets let him sleep before his mother arrives." Jayne says. I can feel Nathan squeeze my hand. He stirs a little. "Sssh it's alright darling. We're still here go back to sleep. Laura's still with you."
"My head hurts." Nathan curls up in my arms burying his face in my chest.
"I know sweetie," I whisper to him. "I know it's not nice. How's that for you?" I massage his head gently. Nathan whimpers.
"I wish you could make it go away." he groans.
"I know baby. I know. I feel your pain. You're exhausted with a fever. If you just relax it might help relieve the pain."
"I just don't feel right anymore." Nathan whimpers.
"I know baby. Your mum won't be long. Close your eyes and relax. You're in my arms. Jayne's with us." I stroke his hair gently.  "Ssssh you'll be okay." Nathan lets out a cry. "Don't cry sweetheart. You'll be okay. Your mum will look after you."
"I'm sorry," Nathan whispers.
"No, you're alright." I tell him. "It's not your fault. I could sense something was off last night. You might have a migraine. It shouldn't be serious." I kiss his head gently to try and relieve his pain without hurting him. "Rest now sweetie you're okay." Nathan whimpers. "Sssh. There's my hand on your head." we hear a knock on the door. "Jayne that might be..."Jayne nods and goes to the door. Nathan's mum is waiting outside with Siva.
"Nathan your mum's here." I whisper to him. He opens his eyes. "Hi, I'm Laura, Nathan's girlfriend nice to meet you." I shake hands with Mrs Sykes.
"Laura," she shakes my hand in return. Nathan gives his mother a hug whilst looking tearful.
"Thank you for travelling up for him." Jayne says. "We need a mum there's no one better than a mum."
"Sweetheart, I just heard." Mrs Sykes hugs Nathan who is sobbing on her shoulder. I rub his back gently. "Don't cry I'm here now. You're safe. Baby what's happened to your eye?" She asks with concern after seeing his injury.
"The Vamps did this. Brad was angry because he thought Laura was hanging around with Nathan." Jayne answers
"Oh, baby the absolute scumbags what did they do?" Nathan sighs.
"In Newcastle we were going to the soundcheck," Nathan begins. "on the stage Brad was standing looking angry. Laura told me he had loved ones there and he might have used that as an excuse to take her away from me. I told him he needed to leave. Siva shielded her away from Brad who tried to rip her out my arms."
"Brad tried to punch me luckily I ducked just in time, but he punched Nathan made him bleed and have an asthma attack." Mrs Sykes is shocked. "It left him dizzy and missed the VIP."
"Nathan," she gives her son a hug. "I'm so sorry to hear that. How's your nose feel?"
"Still feels a bit sore." he answers
"But at least you're okay now." she takes hold of his hand.
"He has a fever." Jayne tells Mrs Sykes. "Coming in here he struggled to walk was nearly about to pass out. He's exhausted and needs to see a doctor back home." Nathan is spooked hearing this.
