I walked into Lena's office at Luthor Corp with some takeout and saw her holding a picture of something or someone.
"Am I interrupting something...?" I said tensely
"Oh kara you're here umm no- no if your wondering about the picture it's actually a picture of my brother and his- daughter" she responded
Lex had a daughter? does Kal know about this? what happened to her? I thought to myself
"Lex had a daughter? how old is she?" I responded my inner reporter started by asking these 2 questions.
"She is 15 and a half now- umm I took care of her until she was 4- umm Lex requested me to until then ask someone to adopt her for a normal life. Umm- I should mention that he was sentenced a month after she became 3 so she doesn't remember him at all..." Lena sounded distant talking about this
I responded comforting her "Lena are you ok? you seem a bit uncomfortable talking about this" I tried to comfort her
"no no no it's fine it's just she calls me calls me mom so it's a bit awkward and lex had a soft spot for her usually he hates everyone and anyone but she somewhat kept him happy," Lena said.
"ah ok," I said
We started eating some Chinese takeout now and just started chatting about things and I got to know a little more about Marinette.
