~~~~~Marinette's POV~~~~~
"I can't handle this I'm going to the hotel- if it's fine by you Mrs. Bustie," I said, my head aching.
"Of course Marinette, I think we all need to go," The kind teacher said tensely.
I tried my best not to look at him but in the end, I had to glace at him for a second and I couldn't help but feel sorrow for us
When we reached the hotel and rooms were assigned, I was the kid who had the hotel room without a partner which I didn't mind. After I unpacked my suitcase I luckily had a room with balcony stairs to the roof, climbed up to the roof and inhaled the fresh air.
"It's nice to breath fresh air, of course not as fresh as France's but still refreshing," I said to myself feeling like I was talking to someone else
"You relate to that too?" a voice that sounded similar to Adrien's said, "I'm Felix, Adrien's cousin, you know the one who sent the terrible message on that day, I saw yours your confession was amazing cutie~."
"First of all, I don't like Adrien anymore and second, I have no interest in blondes, especially like you," I responded.
"Ouch, that's gotta sting," he responded in a mischievous voice
"Don't try me, playboy I know you're with my friend Kagami," I say in a tone where he became dumbfounded
"Now I see why Adrien likes you so much as a friend," He softened his voice now speaking genuinely.
"He... does?" My voice sounded surprised, but it wasn't because Adrien cared but because Felix sounded content.
He smiled, "Yes... and I'm grateful for that."
"When I first looked at your video after finding out that it was you and not Adrien that posted it I thought to myself 'How the hell are these 2 related' because of how sour your attitude is," I speak while averting my gaze.
He chuckles, "It would be hard to believe hmm? My dad passed not too long after Adrien's mom but I was stubborn and didn't move on unlike him. It's what made my attitude so 'sour' as you say it."
"Do all of my friends really have daddy and mommy issues?" I say laughing. "But in all seriousness... I do too"
There was silence between us. not an awkward one but a nice peaceful one.
"Can we just... stay like this? the quiet is nice," I ask my tone now softening.
"... sure. I like how quite it is too," He replies with a smile.
