Chapter 7

~~~~~Marinette's POV~~~~~

I am sitting alone it seems everyone is partnered up and Chloe and Adrien are together, I reached my seat and found the black-haired boy again. His gaze was so soft and polite as he saw me.

"H- hey," He stammered to me "I guess we are sitting together-"

"Yea," I said with a smile

I sat down and Adrien and Chloe were in the two-seater row beside us.

Alya sat,  with Lila in front of us looking a bit pissed for some reason.

"Sooooo I never really caught your name," I said to the boy

"Elijah," he said putting his hand out

"Marinette, you can call me Mari if you want," I said receiving his hand.

Some sort of connection went between each other

We both were sharing why we wanted to go to National City. Turns out he had relatives there too and he was a daily customer at the bakery but his school starts an hour later so he gets his pastries a while after I leave for school. When we were halfway there I almost dozed to sleep.

"Mari?" Elijah asked

"urnfh" I responded consciously again

"You dozed off," he said "Sorry I woke you up"

"No, no, no it's a good thing I need to stay up to finish my designs, Just did not sleep that much because the Akuma was near the bakery so there was a lot of noise," I responded

"Do you mind if I help," He said it so innocently and cutely

"Of course, if anything the designs will... look... better" I felt like we were being watched aside from my class, minus Chloe and Adrien giving me a death glare at me because they just LoVe queen Lila.

Let's break down the surroundings... I thought to myself Ok so aside from the class there are 4 other pairs of seats... all occupied. One pair has a couple sleeping beside each other. The next two pairs seem to be a family, a mom and a child on the first pair of seats, a dad and the other child on the other pair. There! there is a strangely tall man on the fourth pair sitting alone, he is wearing a beige coat, a white and purple fedora and seems to be looking at me, Adrien Chloe and Elijah.

"Helloooo? Elijah to Mari?" He said so cutely

I laughed and said, "That's cute you replaced Earth with your name."

after that, we worked on some designs together for the rest of the flight. I sometimes glanced at the man looking at us... death glares. I don't know what is happening to me it's like this hostility is coming inside me.
