As time passed, A green eye slowly opened and the cat rose up. Scorched and injured, Catbooks got on his weak legs and looked around the dismantled room. "Deepest, are you alive?". A faint coughing could be heard to the side. "Yeah..I'm alive, somehow, guess I'm just immortal.". Normally Catbooks would just question how Deepest is the most confusing entity in the world, but he's just used to it at this point, so he just shrugged it off. Catbooks looked around the white metal room, with a hallway in front of them. "Well the first thing to do in a situation like this is..find a way out." Deepest found that logical so they went off to the hallway. As their footsteps echoed across the large metal hallway, they searched for any room of interest. Catbooks had a confused expression as they slowly maneuvered around the large facility. "What the hell is this place, and why is it under a Hotel of all things." He asked, viewing what appears to be a large machine of some sort. Deepest found another room labeled with a glowing sign hanging from the ceiling reading "Storage".

Without telling Catbooks, Deepest entered the room as his eyes lit up with excitement, there were so many cool things to mess around with (90% of which he doesn't know how to use.) He didn't even hesitate before grabbing as many of the futuristic items as he could. "Deepest!" Catbooks called out. "Where the hell are you, I'll probably need to use you as a cat shield later!".

Deepest hurried over carrying the hoard of cool and glowing stuff he's found. Catbooks turned his head over to see the Item 'Borrower' "Ah, there you are-, Woah, what is all that stuff?". Deepest just shrugged. "I don't know but I like it." He said tossing all the stuff on the floor. Catbooks looked at the pile of futuristic, glowing, cool looking weapons and other artifacts. "How are we supposed to carry all of this, you could barely move with it all!". Deepest noticed one of the artifacts in particular, which looked like a white, dark gray, and blue cube, had the words 'Interdimensional Storage Cube™' on it. He decided to try using it by tapping on the glowing cyan circle in the middle, and it rose up from the ground and sucked all the collected artifacts, gear, and weapons inside of it, before returning back to the ground. The Cat Duo just stared down at it blankly before Catbooks simply saying "Well that's convenient."

After picking up the cube that supposedly carried all the 'borrowed' gear they marched around the maze of The Facility to find a way out. Soon they were met with a dead end, with nowhere to go. Catbooks looked up at the wall that was stopping their progress. "Well, what the fuck do we do now?!" He asked in disappointment. "I guess we'll just do nothing here and die I guess." Deepest said, while leaning against the dead end. To his surprise, his arm had hit a secret button to reveal a keyhole. "Who the fuck puts a button to reveal a keyhole ON THE WALL THAT'S ACTUALLY A DOOR?!" Deepest shouted, insulting the architects of the door. Catbooks put his eye up to the keyhole. "Wait, wasn't one of the things you stol- I mean.. 'Borrowed' a key?". Deepest pulled out the device that stored all their tools. "Hey, whatever-thing-you-are, can you give us a key please." He said, tapping it randomly. As soon as he finished his sentence, the request was given, as the key fell out of the small box. "Damn, Oculus could only dream of the technology this thing uses." Catbooks muttered. As Deepest packed away their Storage Device, Catbooks took the holographic key from the ground and unlocked the door.

The exit slid open, revealing a long hallway with some branching paths. What the Obtuse, rubber goose, green moose, guave juice,

Giant snake, birthday cake, large fries, chocolate shake Fuck is this?!" Deepest asked frustratingly. Catbooks sighed. "God, more places to search..Great." He muttered sarcastically.

The first branching room appeared to be some sort of generator room. On top of the generator, there was a glass container of a pinkish-redish liquid that the two didn't recognize. Deepest looked over to the power lever. "Okay, Listen, There's a 3.4% chance that powering this thing will let us get out." Catbooks raised an eyebrow. "And the other 96.6%". Deepest looked to his side. "It's gonna screw us over". "I like those odds!" Catbooks shouted enthusiastically. Deepest grabbed onto the level with one paw and pulled it down, and soon the liquid inside the glass container was glowing and began to move around. After a moment of standing, and doing absolutely nothing the cats mourned in disappointment as nothing happened.
