A leaf crunched under your dirty inside house white shoes as you dashed past through the bushes and the dense forest, running along your older brother wherever the hell you legs could take y'all to.
What about your parents? They had an accident when you were two years old, while your brother was four.
What about a place you could call home with your other family members? Well, after your parents died your aunt took the two of you in but would constantly get abused and when you or your brother told the others in the family, they didn't believe you both.
So yes, the answer, was to run away. Eijirou was now eighteen while you were sixteen, both of you were in the age to start to work for some time but now-
“Fuck.”
-your minds, were settled on finding that camp house that you both knew was near somewhere in this forest, and if you couldn't find it, the two of you wouldn't stop until you found it.
That little house, was bought by your parents--without anyone else knowing--so you guys could have some family vacation there, the last time you saw the house was a little blurry but as you both went in deeper the forest, it felt warmer and safer.
“There it is, Y/N!!!!” the red hair shouted happy quick-ing his pace running faster towards the cabin, a wide smile spread across your face running faster to catch up with your brother.
The door was locked but when the red hair was close enough to the door, he jumped and give it a kick busting it open while he fell to the ground, “Shit.”
He grumble making you chuckled, helping him up and closed the door behind. “Are you sure no one followed us?” you ask your brother.
“Yes,” he answered out of breath. “But just to make sure, let's put this here.” he said, walking towards a moving cover that had some glass decorations inside. (What's the name of that thing? If you understood what am trying to describe.)
You obviously got the hint and hurried towards the other end of said furniture, with both pushing the large object you both managed to place it so it can block the door. When you made sure the door wouldn't open, you let your body collide against the wooden floor while you brother just slid down on the wall he was leaning against and sat down his head tilted backwards and his eyes closed.
Your hearts were hammering themselves against your ribcage and your breaths were heavy and uneven, because of the adrenaline both felt at the moment and because of the marathon they had to run for almost three day non-stop.
You heard a content sigh, making you look at your brother who was now scratching his dirty hair that was turning black because of all the dirt, feeling your eyes on him he raised his head to meet your gaze giving you a soft smile. “Finally,” he breathed making you chuckle under your breath.
“If anything, we can always get the goods that father hid inside the attic, mm?” you remembered, a smirk making its way to your face.
“And we can go shopping once in awhile, after we break his safe.” he mirrored your smirk, standing up to his feet you doing the same while both walking to your respective rooms.
Closing the door behind you, you met with a shining clean and tidy room instead of a one that was filled with dust as a sweet scent of carmel danced around, hitting your nose.
After standing for a few seconds in confusion you shrugged, walking to your bed and flop on it smelling the detergent that the sheets emitted. You should've gone and take a shower and make something to eat, but you just felt so tired that your body and mind wouldn't allow you to do such thing, not to even question who looked after the house.
