Chapter 26

Jungkook's POV

No. No. No. No. No. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO!!!!

She can't be gone! I will NOT lose her!

3rd person POV

Taehyung, Jin and Hoseok watched with tears in their eyes as their youngest brother was overcome with pain and grief.
Namjoon, Yoongi and Jimin ran back in and were shocked and saddened at what they saw...

Jungkook was on his knees, forehead and fists resting against the tank, shoulders shaking and gruntled huff sounds coming out of him as he sobbed. They saw Siri floating gracefully in the tank, eyes closed and not moving.

They were too late...

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

All the members were frozen and stunned. Jungkook just cried out a word at the top of his lungs. There was no waver, no crack in his voice. Just pure pain and sorrow.

Something snapped within Jungkook and he stopped his crying and quickly turned around, signing for the key as he now had a look of determination even though tears still fell down his face. He's not going to give up on her.

Yoongi gave it to him immediately and they all watched as Jungkook quickly unlocked the locks. As soon as he pulled the door open, water gushed out with Serena falling out. Jungkook grabbed her as she fell out and gently placed her down on her back. She looked pale and her lips were turning blue.

Jungkook instantly moved to her side and started CPR. He didn't care if this didn't work. He just needed to at least try.

After every 30 compressions, he gave her mouth to mouth. He continued doing this for a few minutes and his members were starting to think he was in denial...

JM: "Jungkook-ah... She's gone..." he said sadly with tears in his eyes now from seeing how much Jungkook was still trying to bring her back.

Jungkook sniffled and shook his head no and started tearing up again with each compression he did, getting slightly weaker as it was tiring him out.

Taehyung could see how much love Jungkook had for Serena. He knew they were meant for each other and he is not going to give up on her either. She's the sister he never had. He loves her too.

V: "Move Kook. I'll take over." He started compressions now while Jungkook waited till he could give mouth to mouth.

JH: "Taehyung-ah... she's not coming back..." He said sadly, looking so downcast.

V: "No! Kook's not giving up and neither am I. I'm not letting our Maknae lose his first and only love. She's family! If it was one of you, I'd keep trying too!"

That made the members stiffen and shut up.

Taehyung and Jungkook continued CPR for a few more minutes, then Yoongi joined in to help.

What felt like hours was really only about 10 minutes of them doing CPR.

RM: "Guys... I think you need to stop..."

Jungkook went to give mouth to mouth when suddenly Serena's body shook and water spurted out of her mouth. She was coughing violently and took in big deep breaths.

All the members were blown-away. It worked! She's alive!

Jungkook immediately scooped her into his arms and hugged her for dear life while she was still coughing and trying to catch her breath.

"J-jungk-kook?" Serena stuttered out in confusion.

V: "Holy shit! You pulled through! You actually pulled through!"

Taehyung hugged Serena from the side and hugged Jungkook too. He can't believe their efforts worked.

Siri: "H-how? I th-thought I-..."

RM: "Kook didn't give up on you. Neither did Tae or Yoongi. Kept giving you CPR till you came back"

Jungkook and Taehyung pulled away and Serena could now see Jungkook's tear stained face and she held him between her hands and started wiping them away like she wanted to when she was in the tank.

Siri: "You saved me Jagi. You did it" she said with a small smile and slight raspy voice as she was still trying to recover.

Jungkook didn't waste a second. He kissed Serena with overwhelming passion and love.

He did it. His Queen is back.

"I love you. Don't ever leave me or die on me ever again."

Serena gave a slight giggle, "I'll try not to. And I love you too."

V: "Hey, I love you too. I want- no, I need hugs too."

Serena turned so Taehyung could hug her tight. "Thank you TaeTae. I love you too."

Taehyung came away with happy tears in his eyes and Serena wiped them away for him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She then looked at Yoongi with arms open and he hugged her too.

Siri: "Be honest Yoongi. You only helped save me for Jazzy, right?" She smirked at him.

Yoongi and the others let out a little chuckle. They were so glad she's alive and relieved she's making jokes already.

Y: "That's not entirely true... well, maybe 70% of it is true..." He gave her a cheeky grin and she chuckled and gave him a kiss on the cheek and another hug.

Siri: "Thank you. I love you." She came away and looked at the others. "I love all of you like my brothers. Thank you so much for trying to save me."

Jungkook helped Siri stand up and the others all gave her hugs.

Siri: "So... Charles?"

RM: "Dead. We used your method of finger breaking to get him to hurry up and find the key. Once we got it, we shot him in the head. We don't need to worry about him anymore."

Relief came over Serena and Jungkook. They were safe now.

JM: "Your method is fucking genius Siri. We use it all the time now. Works like a charm!" He gave her his eye smile.

Serena giggled, "I'm glad I helped in some way."

RM: "Come on. Let's go home. Ryan will be thrilled to know you're alive."

Siri: "Shit... He knows now right? How'd he take it?"

JH: "He was angry to start with but once Jungkookie told him we killed Tyler he was happy as Larry!" His wide sunny smile was out.

BTS and Serena started making their way back to the car. Everyone was happy and everyone was safe now.
