Chapter 11: Confrontation

Boss lays limp and appears to be barely conscious as shown by his lack of movement. Po and Akemi stagger away from him while the Five finally arrive and rush over to the pair.

Crane- Akemi! Are you okay? Are you hurt?

Akemi sprints over and embraces Crane before she responds with the sound of relief in her voice

Akemi- I'm okay, Crane. He didn't hurt me.

Crane- Oh thank heavens!

The pair separated and suddenly found their attention placed onto Po, who had started taunting his defeated foe on the ground.

Po- Taste the defeat!

Po starts stumbling a bit but continues with his rant after Tigress assists him with staying on his feet.

Po- Let me tell ya something, you mess the panda, you better bring a whole lotta...

Po trails off as all of them look up nervously at the palace gates. Some wolves had appeared from the roof and had begun readying their bows while more wolves came out from all directions and surrounded them. Boss stands up and begins to chuckle slightly before turning to Po.

Boss- Guess nobody told you, you mess with the wolf, you get the fangs.

Boss quickly punches Po in the gut, causing him to bow and wheeze for air.

Akemi- Po!

Boss- Now I've punched you twice, what are you gonna do now?

Po furls his brows and stares intensely at Boss Wolf, who was staring just as intensely back at him. A brief moment passes as everyone looks at the panda with anticipation. Po swiftly and suddenly swings his fists in the air and proudly exclaims:

Po- WE SURRENDER!!

The Five stare at him in shock and Akemi's pupil's shrink before whipping her head to look at her brother.

Akemi- WHAT?!

Soon after, a gorilla appears from the crowd and begins cuffing the warriors one by one, starting with Monkey, then Viper, then Tigress before Po speaks up.

Po- Hey, don't forget the little guy!

Mantis- What did you just call me- ?

Po snatches the little guy off his shoulder before placing his hand in a cage to put him in. Soon after, a wolf forces Akemi away from Crane and she immediately panics and fights back against their capturers.

Crane- Akemi!

Meanwhile

Li had stayed behind to make sure that the civilians were safe and wouldn't be harmed as the chase had become more and more chaotic and destructive as it carried on. He scales back up a nearby building and follows the wreckage that was left behind by the mayhem on wheels. Off in the distance, Li could hear what sounded like a small earthquake and then an eerie silence that followed after. Li grew concerned as his instincts screamed at him that something wasn't right and swiftly traversed the rooftops until he could find where the sound of the impact was located. He makes it to the top of the last building before he is finally able to observe the entrance of the palace courtyard. He peers down and sees that the Five and Po had been cuffed and that Akemi was thrashing about, trying to get away from the wolves to no avail.

Li- I have to get down there.

Li gets a running start before he leaps off. At the same moment, Mantis appears from below and quickly grabs Li by the ankles and yanks him back onto the roof.
