"You're not half bad!" Exclaimed as he laughed and patted Asta's shoulders while Asta stood in shock,

"Not only were you able to block my magic, but you also sent it right back at me! I like you, Shrimpsta!" Magna slapped Asta's back while complimenting him.

"Sorry I made fun of you for being a black with little magical power. I'm actually from out in the country myself. I'm from Rayaka Village, just about Hage." And while they continued to chat I slumped into the couch my body becoming boneless without fail

Asta's POV

"It's not that I have little magical power, I don't have any at all." I sputtered out because of the flattery.

"Huh? You don't have any magical power? And yet you were able to hit my attack back at me?" I felt like I said something wrong but I hesitantly said yes

"That's even more awesome! So that means you're a real man." I didn't expect him to say that so I looked at him with admiration also because he looked cool at that moment, all the other senior members bombarded me with compliments.

Y/n POV

As all the seniors started conversations with Asta I slumped down on the couch, Carmen sat down beside me.

"Wow, Asta made it. Aren't you a proud lady?" She giggled, and I just smiled as I watched Asta receive his robe.

"Yeah, I guess I am a proud lady." I stood up and walked toward the rowdy group thinking in my head

This is the start of our journey to the crown Asta, and just for your information, I will not let you get it first.

Carmen's POV

As (Y/n) walked to the rest of the squad, my smile faded and I looked toward Karma with a straight face,

"Do you feel the person looking at us too Karma?" He glanced at me and then knelt to calm down Lazeran, who was growling lowly.

"I already did when we left HQ, based on the size of the build it must be a female standing at 5'3 tall. She's located on the right balcony of HQ, she must be the other recruit who didn't come tonight. Lazeran sniffed out her scent a while back after getting used to the seniors' scents." Karma explained while feeding Lazeran ice candy again, I looked at Karma and asked 

"How come you always have ice candy on you? Can't you give me some?" And Karma looked at me with a disgusted look as if I said something weird,

"What?" I asked offended, Karma looked back at Lazeran laughing. 

"You want ice candy for Hounds? Wow, What kind of tastes do you have?" My face became warm out of embarrassment, I huffed and crossed my arms.

(Y/n) POV

I looked around my new sleeping place, which was the same size as my room back at Hage. Speaking of my house back at Hage, I decided to rent it to some people, I found out that maybe it was better to earn money another way while I was gone. I left my strictest fairy to manage the place and the money earned.

"So? you like your new room?" Vanessa asked me. I turned back to her and nodded my head, she smiled and continued

"You should write a letter to your loved ones, they must be worried about you."

"Thank you, Vanessa." She then turned around and added that I could always go to her if I needed something.

~In the Golden Dawn's HQ

Yuno's POV

After Klaus lead me to the room I would stay in he said,

"How unfortunate. This room is wasted on you." I remained motionless, then he pushed up his glasses continuing.

"Tomorrow, I'll be lecturing you on your duties as a Magic Knight.  I'd rather not be your instructor, but the captain ordered me to do so, and as such, I have no choice. Are you listening?" I was annoyed at him for saying 'You' and not my name, so rather than answering 'Yes' or 'No', I said

"It's Yuno. I have a name, and it's Yuno, Klaus." I looked at him dead in his eyes and in response he tilted his chin higher and retorted,

"I'm your senior. You'll address me with respect."

"Understood" I quickly said satisfied with the reaction I got.

"Don't be late," Klaus added as he left my room. I walked toward the shiny polished study table in front of the only window in this room, as I placed my hand on the table I looked towards the moon as if I were finally acknowledging its presence.

I'll see both of you at the top, the games start now.

Narrator POV

As the sun peaked above the trees in Hage, Sister Lily was already awake as if she wanted to greet the rising sun as she did her laundry. The children played on the other side of the church where the sun hasn't touched yet. A small silver portal appeared in the sky and out came three owls each holding a letter in its beak and flapping towards Sister Lily, she held out her hands waiting for the letters. The owls each dropped their letter in Sister Lily's hands and left as soon as they came, she looked at the letters and knew that the first one was from Asta because of his messy handwriting, the second from Yuno because of his neat handwriting and the third from (Y/n) because of the glitter on the letter. Sister Lily went inside the church and handed the letters to Father who gather the children and read the letters out loud,

"Well done, Yuno and (Y/n)! They made it into the Magic Knights! They're truly our pride!" Father shouted wiping his tears away.

"I have to let the whole village know!" Before Father could get out of the church with his broom Sister Lily stopped him,

"Oh it looks like Asta made it in too" Father stopped in his tracks and turned his head towards her screaming what!

(Y/n) POV

"I wonder if our letters reached Hage already, Asta?" It was early in the morning, I woke up Asta so that we could go down and eat together but he had other plans.

"ASTA DON'T FALL ASLEEP ON THE TABLE OR WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU" I slammed my palm on the table and Asta jolted awake,

"I'm awake!" Although he said that he fell off his seat and knocked himself back into slumber, I sighed

"Sorry I woke you up so early you can go back to your room to sleep some more." When Asta heard that, which I don't know how, he dashed faster than a boar to his room. I sat back down and continued to eat my food.

I finished~! god the number of tests coming up and so less time to study, I just managed to finish the last sentence in school. Whelp it done so see you next chapter
