Chapter 1

Roni pov.

I entered the compound in a hurry to get to my room,not really wanting to talk about my day or what had just happened.

Usually I'll grab a snack from the mini bar and then be on my way to annoy uncle Tony and the rest. We Usually have interesting conversations about our day before having to train with none other than the black widow herself. I'd say it's torture that they make me train for 2 hours everyday knowing I don't get to step foot on the battle field but... it's quality time with my mum so I'm not complaining.

That being said everyone would be grateful that I'm not annoying them and believe I'm out with Peter as usual but my mum knows that quality time is quality time and she'll know somethings up and come looking for me.

Nat: hey dekta, you okay?

Great my mum was knocking at my door now. I had to think ...

Roni: hey mum... I'm okay ,I'm just in a hurry I'm heading out with Peter in a few.

Nat:okay sweetheart, am I seeing you later for training.

Roni: I don't think so mum.sorry.

Nat: it's okay, have fun.

With that she left and well to be honest chilling with Peter didn't sound too bad.
So I texted him to let him know he needs to fetch me

I got changed as I know Peter will be swing around town and my preppy skirt isn't exactly suitable so I threw on some sweats and a hoodie for face covering purposes. Because you know. It just so happens that my best friend is your friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Not many knows. Ned found out by accident and then told MJ and by our surprise she already knew.

I got a text that his outside so I headed out.

Pete: hello your majesty.

Roni: you're annoying
I shoved him playfully and laughed.
He put his arm around my waist.

"You ready?" He asked for consent to take off.
I nodded .

We were off. Usually we'd hang around the bridge but after the incident we try not to. Once a man thought we were going to jump so he stopped his car and literally got out to stop us from 'jumping'

We panicked because, well Peter wasn't wearing his suit and I wasn't exactly hidden either so we jumped.

Peter shot a web that led us to safety so we were fine. The man on the other hand ,I'm not so certain. I'm kidding we tracked him down and left him a note that said; if you the guy from the bridge, we are safe!

Or something along those lines ,it was quite some time ago.

We ended up on the school roof. To many it sounds terrible and that's kind of the joy of it. Everyone hates it here so they don't show up. It makes this the perfect place to find peace and be by yourself and clear your head.

"So little miss romanoff ,to what do I owe the pleasure" Peter messed around and I kindly shot him daggers. He got the message and then stopped.

"Elizabeth olsen knows I'm alive. "
I blurted out ,unable to control my emotions.
"Holy cow. What happened?" Peter took a seat next to me listening intently while I told him what happened earlier.

His the only friend that knows about my awful past. And then there's my mum and Steve and everyone at the compound except the new comers. Wanda happened to read my mind while I was in deep thought so she also knows but promised to keep it to herself.

"Well honestly I think you should go tomorrow. Like what are the chances a 35 year old ruins a kids carnival?" He made a point, but just because chances are low doesn't mean there aren't any.
