Myrah pov ( continuation)

"Myrah!" He called me. I went near and hugged him, and he hugged me back and patted my back, a sign to leave his embrace.

Exhaling in fatigue, I moved back to notice his eyes staring gravely at Ri-ma.

"Tae, this is Ri-ma, my confidante and a maid. Ri-ma, he is Tae," I oriented them both and added, "It is no problem to have her accompany us. I trust her."

Tae scrutinized Rima for a few seconds and shook his head in refusal. "Alright, fine..." I sulked and looked at Ri-ma.

"I will pay my respects to the Deity then," she said rashly and fled the place.

"You spooked her," I chastised him as he replied dimly, "I didn't."

"For the last time, I supposed you would fraternize with others," I remarked as I sat down on the steps that led to the pond, allowing my feet to dip inside it.

"And last time I knew, you were a sadist," he dejected.

"Oh... yeah, I speak solely if I want something from them."

"What do you want from me?" Tae asked as I stared at him.

"From you? I need the Rachrose seeds." and I want you to be with me.

"And I want you to pledge not to stake your life, Myrah," he declared.

Tae was never the fellow to exemplify his true intentions, and I learned it from him. And he knows that I know that he genuinely cares for me.

"And you don't need the RachRose seeds, why do you want it?" he asked as he held my hands and delineated my fresh wound, which had almost parched up and had quelled percolating.

"I want it to be provided to the farmers. The upshot will show, only after two years only, the ground would slowly get antagonized and saline enough to be uncultivable the next time. It can't be found," I told him my plan and his hands froze.

"This may bring down the whole country, Myrah, though I know you will not get snagged, but if you will lose your life, no. I can not give it to you," he urged monotonously.

"You have to, Tae. You know I will get what I want. I guarantee I won't injure myself. If not, I know you are there to take care of me, like the last time."

"Uh... I am not sure Myrah, your palm lines are cut blunt, your fate will have wrench and differences, and mishaps will occur, Myrah. Take rest for a month or so. I will foresee your fortune at that time."

"You know I trust palmistry, astrology, or whatever just cause you concede it. Nothing can thwart me, Tae. Get it inside your brain," I said a little loudly. "Ow," I cried when Tae flicked my forehead.

"Talk respectfully, Myrah, I am older than you," he lectured as I gibed, "Whatever, but don't send me a letter, I will send it to your spy, who has been guarding and stalking me everywhere. Such a nuisance."

"I assumed you would extrapolate it out soon. Then, I shall send him the seeds to give to you. You should have known if you hadn't killed Lehyun, I would have," he told me as I ambled to leave.

"I know Tae, I am secure as long as you are with me, Oppa," I replied and left, knowing how a brisk smile formed on his face, even showing his back, I know Tae is pleased with my retort.

I grew up with Tae, he guided me with countless things and he deems me as his sister. A fate reader he is, always looking out for me, under his cloak, his eyes are my home.

I went into the other corridor and reached the main foyer of the temple.

"Let's go, Rima," I asked her as I studied the horizon. I spotted two people, Tae's spy who bowed at my sight, and Namjoon. Oops, wrong business, Joon. You can't be smart at all times. I sighed sadly for him as I quickly galloped back to the palace.

"Where did you go," a voice screeched as I turned my feet, it was Queen Dowager.

"To the buddha temple," I answered as Ri-ma bowed to her.

"You have got no respect, I see. Is this what your mom taught you?" she disparaged as she resumed, "I took notice that you were almost molested. If it had not been Jimin, what would have come about?" she asked insensitively as the maids around her were astonished.

"Yeah? What would have happened, if it had not been Jimin." I jeeringly repeated her question. Jimin came late, and I don't complain either.

I always try my best to avoid drama, but my life would be boring without it.

"How impudent? You must have had it, wouldn't you slut?" she asked, amused by my attitude and vanity.

If there is something I can never stand, it is audacity.

I gripped her hair as she held my hands. "Who is the slut? Min Seong?" I asked with my teeth gritted. "Aah!" she shrieked as I banged her head upon the wall.

I brushed my hanbok calmly and stepped out of the scene. Min Seong got up and shouted, "You will get caught, witch!"

How rude! I just want to kill her as soon as possible. The more intrusive she gets, the more enthusiastic I am to perpetrate the plan and kick her out of the board.
