TW: ABUSE
JJ POV:
I bursted through the doors of the BAU hurrying to grab a remote. "Morgan" I shouted as he looked over at me in confusion. "Whats up?" He asked. I turned the tv on drawing everyone's attention.
"What is reportedly being called a routine questions and answers meeting by Colorado children services has turned into a violent and deadly standoff between Colorado authorities and a friend religious group known as the Sepatrian sect." The news lady reported.
"JJ please tell me that's not where." Morgan starts but I cut him off. "They're still inside." I mutter trying to remain calm. "Hotch, Rossi." Morgan screamed and they came out of their offices.
"The TV." I shout with wide eyes. "Leah, Emily and Spencer are still in there." Morgan shouts. "No one knows for sure how many people are inside but it is believed four child service members are still trapped." The news lady said.
The phones began ringing off the off within the BAU, and agents rushed to answer. Rossi and Hotch gripped the railing tightly in fear of what was going to happen. "That means we are led with hostage support, let's go." Hotch yelled as they all left the BAU.
Leah POV:
I sat beside Reid as Emily paced back and forth in the bunker. We had been separated from the rest of the church, most of the children had been sent to bed. Cyrus and one of his followers ran down the stairs.
"Miles is dead. He was shot while trying to lock the door. Lauren and Robert are still asleep in their beds." He said.
"What about the baby?" he asked. She handed the baby to him. "I have her." She says out of breath.

The next morning we were rushed to the temple where the rest of the followers were gathered. I blinked a few times trying to keep myself awake. When I heard a knock on the door, I looked over and saw Cyrus open the door to reveal Rossi.
Relief flushed over me. The BAU were here, now we had a fighting chance. Rossi was patted down by one of the followers. Cyrus pointed to everyone.
"The children, our guests." He said and pointed towards us. Rossi gave us an almost undetectable nod to us before looking away. He had to pretend he didn't know us.
"Id hope you let me take the children." Rossi said but Cyrus shook his head. "Nah there is our protection. I remember Waco, we all do." He said. "This isn't waco." Rossi said. Cyrus paused looking at us then the children then back at Rossi. "They stay for now, while I pray for god's guidance. Please don't try and force us out." He said.
"No one will force you out, trust me." Rossi said. "Trust is earned." Cyrus replied. "It is." Rossi nodded in agreement. I knew Rossi was stalling to plant as many bugs as he could so they could listen in.
"Tell them I'm not crazy, tell them I'm just a man living by god's law." Cyrus pleads and Rossi nods. "I will." He states before walking out with the followers shutting the doors behind him.
"Prepare the wine." Cyrus said. My eyes widened seeing as plastic cups were being distributed red liquid being put in as well.
"You three get up." Harold said. "Go stand over there." He pointed and we all walked over towards the wall.
"We are celebrating." Cyrus continued to give the women and children wine.
"Everyone drinks, everyone rejoices. Because today we are one day close to being with him."
"Look at Jessica's body language." Emily said and me and Spencer watched her. She was staring at the man as if she was in a trance. "The way she looks at him." I start.
"She actually worships him." Spencer finished my sentence.
"There's no way she made that 911 call." Emily says. "Trust in god with all your heart. Lean on your own understandings not mine." Cyrus states. I noticed how Jessica's mother walked over in between the pair, Jessica tried to look around but the women kept moving in the way. "Look how she inserted herself in between the two." I say and they both look at him.
"Acknowledge him in all your things and he will guide your way." He raised his cup.
"Drink acknowledge him." He said drinking the wine as everyone followed.
"We will be with him soon after we drink the poison together. Mothers, fathers, children though we walk the valley of the shadow and fear no evil, for those are with us. God wipe the tears from thou eyes." He stated.
"What do we do?" I ask, looking at Reid. "Nothing." Reid said, studying space. "We have to do something because these people just took poison,"Emily continued.
"Cyrus just told them they did, I think he's bluffing." Reid said, studying the people around us. "Why do you think that?" I ask, looking at him.
"Just after he told them about the position he was waiting for their reaction, Then he nodded to Cole and he began writing it as a loyalty test." Spencer said and I nodded in agreement.
"So he knows who will follow him to the end.''Emily says and we both nod. "Be still, there was no poison, watch each other for signs of weakness." Cyrus said as everyone watched him closely. We saw Cyrus stepping towards us and I knew he knew.
"Which one of you is it?" He shouted. Cyrus opened his shirt revealing a gun.
"Which one of you is an FBI agent?" He asks slowly. Cyrus took the safety off and pointed it.
"God will forgive me for what I must do." He said. "We don't know what youre talking about." Emily says and Cyrus steps closer.
"Me it's me." I say, stepping in front of them. Both Emily and Reid eyes widened.
"I'm sorry for tricking you guys." I look at them and they still looked surprised. Before anything else happened Cyrus grabbed me by my hair and yanked me upwards and pulled me into another room.
"I told you not to put me in this position." he screamed, throwing me into the wall. I rolled over, holding onto my stomach trying to soothe the pain. I try to get up but he punches me in the face which causes me to fall back down.
"Get up." Cyrus pulls me up and throws me into the mirror hanging onto the wall. I fall to the floor feeling blood run down my face. He grabs me by the hair, throwing me back into the wall.
"I can take it." I say knowing the team could hear everything. "Oh you can take it?" He asks, slapping me. "Pride comes before." He says punching me in the stomach, then into the wall. I end up passing out sometime during it all.
I woke up with Cyrus pacing back and forth. My head was pounding and my hair was matted together with blood. I could barely move knowing I probably have a few broken ribs. I was pulled up by Cyrus who dragged me back into the room where all the women and children were. He walked up to the stage and dropped me to the ground.
