Xu Kai: Beauty Outside

As I get Miss Xiao's staff to the hotel, I get a call from Yanzhen.

               *clicks answer to the call*

"Hey Yanzhen, wassup?"

"WASSUP!?!?! YOU. ARE ASKING ME. WASSUP?!? DUDE!!! YOU GOT YOURSELF A CEO'S DAUGHTER. YOU ARE GONNA HAVE CONNECTIONS WITH SUCH POWERFUL PEOPLE!!!" Yanzhen rambles/yells for no reason to me about me getting famous. The truth is that, maybe I will get famous, I dont know.

"By the way dude, is she... pretty?" He stops before asking if she's pretty, he knows how I reacted last time, he probably doesn't want to get me pissed while I'm on the road.

"I guess. I don't know." The truth is that I find her stunning, but her character is the worst. How can I love someone like that?

"You've got to be kidding me, right? You don't know whether she's pretty or not? Did you not look at her?" He pauses for a second, then he talks with a teasing voice, "Or were you too shy to look at a beauty like her?"

"I wish I could hit you right now! You're annoying! Of course I looked at her, we even talked for a bit." I'm lying about the talking part. It was more of like, her trying to boss me around and me trying to explain why I couldn't do the things she was telling me to do. Or why something was arranged the way it had been arranged.

Her father definitely sent instructions for Yanzhen, I'm just following his orders. He is the one with information and instructions now. Not me anymore. Sure, I did indeed receive an email  about her first, but he is the one who received information about her flight and where she could stay. As well as where her staff would be staying.

Her dad apparently told Yanzhen that Miss Xiao needed to learn how to respect and live with other people. She would be staying at my place. I didn't feel comfortable about that, but her dad literally got me a whole new house and private ice rink! Like, how much money does he actually have? Anyways, the house is much bigger, and we all fit there. There are separate rooms for everyone. Miss Xiao and Miss Yan are sleeping in the same room, the bodyguard is staying in the second room (just in case Miss Xiao needs protection), and I'll sleep in the third room with Yanzhen.

We are respectful men, so we aren't planning on doing anything malicious to the girls. I made sure Yanzhen made that clear with Mr. Cheng when he told us we should all live in the same house. I still feel a little bit uncomfortable with the girls living in my house, and sleeping under the same roof as us. But the rooms are at the opposite ends of the house, so the only way to get from our room to their room, is by going past the bodyguard's room. Mr. Cheng put a movement detector in the bodyguard's door, just in case we got any funny ideas. If anyone goes past his room, we are dead!

Each room has a restroom, I find that pretty cool. For a small house like this one, it surely is very protected and packed with necessary things.

"Kai? Kai??? Kai!!!" I notice I drifted into thought and I quickly respond.

"Yea? Sorry, I drifted into thought again."

"Were you thinking of how good she-" He starts saying with a teasing voice, but I cut him off.

"Stop it Yanzhen! I don't like her, you can meet her yourself, and you'll see how much you dislike her as well."

Yanzhen stays quiet for a second, then says, "How bad is she." I'm surprised by the change of his tone of voice. One minute he was teasing me and the next he's not. Maybe Mr. Cheng also warned him.

"She's just... how can I say... she's... basically SUPER SPOILED!" I try to emphasize just how bad her attitude is by saying one sentence. Yanzhen stays quiet another second.

"Maybe we should reconsider Kai." I feel shocked, why would he suggest that?

"No. I won't waste this opportunity of maybe gaining some money to pay you guys for all the efforts you've put in me all these years. You guys barely earn enough, but you guys stayed with me, and I'll pay you guys ALL of your love and support back!"

I feel a little cringe after saying that. It feels like I was giving an inspirational speech, but then again, I meant every word.

"I know you might be determined, but if you feel like it's too much, you can always reconsider and talk about it with Mr. Cheng." Yanzhen sounds unsure, but I know we can work it out. I hope we can, at least.

"I'm driving back home, I think you should come back home too, it's been a long day for me."

"Yea of course Kai! I'll be back in an hour or two, I still need to sort out some papers. Are you sure you can handle it?"

"I think I can..." I say very unsure.

"Ok then, I'm going to be back once I'm done here. REMEMBER, if ANYTHING happens, you call me IMMEDIATELY. Do you understand?"

Yanzhen is such and older brother figure to me. He always wants to take care of me but also tease me a ton.

"Yea bro, I promise!"

"Bye Kai, see you later!"

"Bye!"

                     *Ends the phone call*

I drive all the way back to my new home. I get lost a little but make it easily back home. When I get there, I can see that everything seems pretty calm. They must be unpacking their bags. At least that will give me some peace.

I take th keys out of the car and get out. I have this wierd feeling that something is going on but I brush it off. What could possibly be going wrong, right? As I unlock the door and go in, it's awfully quiet.

I close and lock the door quietly and head towards my room, as I pass through Miss Xiao's room, I see she's fast asleep in her bed. She isn't laying in the best position.

It's not inappropriate to try to help her sleep in a more comfortable position, right?

I move her legs that are hanging off the bed onto the bed. Then, I move her arms a little to make sure she doesn't wake up with an aching arm. I also grab a small blanket that I left for her and cover her with it.

She DOES look beautiful.

Haiiii! I'm back. Haha, ok so today as I'm writing this, I got permission to go to homecoming. Idk if its gonna be fun, but im still excited! Ima probably upload this like 2 weeks after homecoming, sooooo if u want an update, just comment here and I'll tell you how it went! Have a nice day/night baiiiii
