At the house Jenny is showing a plumber to the kitchen, near the sink.
"No, sir, nothing weird down there, I promise. Sink just backed up on its own." Walking him into the kitchen.
"Well, I'll take a look." He says looking at the sink then back her.
"Thanks. Oh, okay, I'll get out of your way." She says and backs away.
The plumber sets down his tools and begins looking at the pipes under the sink. A few feet away, by Ritchie's playpen, a toy monkey is sitting with cymbals in its hands. Without warning, the monkey starts up. It clashes its cymbals together loudly while cackling.
"Nope! Absolutely not!" Sirius says flinching away from the screen.
"Shut up." Remus says but he also jumped.
After a moment, the plumber looks up, confused. The toy stops. The plumber stands up and tries turning on the garbage disposal, but it doesn't work.
Instead, he rolls up his sleeve and sticks his hand down the disposal.
"No, no, no." Muggleborns whispered knowing what could happen.
Lily was covering her eyes peeking every few seconds.
He thinks he feels something in the drain, but when he takes his hand out, there is nothing there.
There is a group sigh of relief. As his hand is pulled safely out. Lily lowered her hand and grabs James's hand.
He sticks most of his arm back down the disposal. Suddenly, the garbage disposal starts up and you can see the blood coming out of the drain under the sink.
Many screams ring out seeing the blood. Lily recovers her eyes trying to hold in her tears.
The plumber's arm is being completely torn apart as blood splatters everywhere.
At the Same time, the cymbal-clashing monkey starts up again, cackling as the plumber screams. The screen goes black.
The whole hall looks at the screen in horror having never seeing something like that before.
Lily is crying silently wanting to take her baby far away from that place.
The screen lights up again showing Carter, Dean, and Sam talking to the owner of the garage.
"So you and John Winchester, you used to own this garage together?" Dean asks as the follow him through the garage.
"Yeah, we used to, a long time ago." He says grabbing a rag and wiping his hands off. "Matter of fact, it must be, uh...twenty years since John disappeared. So why the cops interested all of a sudden?"
"Oh, we're re-opening some of our unsolved cases, and the Winchester disappearance is one of 'em." Carter says smoothly.
"Naturally. They are pretending to be muggle cops." Remus says shaking his head.
"Oh, well, what do you wanna know about John?" The man nodded placing his hands on his hips.
"Well, whatever you remember, you know, whatever sticks out in your mind." Dean says looking over the place.
"Well...he was a stubborn bastard, I remember that." He said with a laugh. "And, uh, whatever the game, he hated to lose, you know? It's that whole Marine thing." Carter, Dean, and Sam nod. "But, oh, he sure loved Mary. And he doted on those kids." He finished sadly.
"Can't they see they are upsetting him?" Molly asks upset with the lack of tact.
"But that was before the fire?" Sam asks as he glanced at Carter and Dean.
"That's right." The man nods slowly and sadly.
"He ever talk about that night?" Sam asks him.
"You can't just ask him that! He's clearly grieving a friend!" Molly shouts.
"No, not at first. I think he was in shock." He says rubbing his thumb over his chin.
"Right. But eventually? What did he say about it?" Carter asks him and Dean glanced at her and Sam before looking back at the owner expectantly.
Molly threw her hands up in exasperation and disgust.
"Oh, he wasn't thinkin' straight. He said somethin' caused that fire and killed Mary." The man said chuckling a little bit.
"He ever say what did it?" Dean asks him hoping for an answer to the question he's asked his entire life.
"So 'something' killed their mom?" Sirius asks raising his eyebrows.
"I'm sure it has said that?" Remus said shaking his head.
"No, it said she died, not that she killed." Sirius disagrees.
Remus looks at him before looking back at the screen.
"Nothin' did it. It was an accident... an electrical short in the ceiling or walls or somethin'." The man says sadly shaking his head. "I begged him to get some help, but...."
"But what?" Carter asks upset that he doesn't know what they are dealing with.
Molly shakes her head in exasperation at their saviors attitude.
"Oh, he just got worse and worse." He says looking at Carter.
"How?" Dean asks shortly.
"Oh, he started readin' these strange ol' books. He started goin' to see this palm reader in town." He said as if it was the worst thing.
"Palm reader? Uh, do you have a name?" Carter asks at the first useful bit of information.
"No." He scoffs shaking his head.
The car is parked by a payphone, where Sam is looking through a phonebook.
"Well that was useless." Carter says leaning against the car.
"At least she's not in danger." James says shrugging his shoulders still upset that his daughter wasn't with them.
"All right, so there are a few psychics and palm readers in town. There's someone named El Divino. There's, uh... there's the Mysterious Mister Fortinsky." Sam says chuckling. "Uh, Missouri Moseley..." Sam says and Carter leans up.
"Wait, wait. Missouri Moseley?" Carter asks looking at Sam through the window.
"I feel like she just figured something out." Lily says furrowing her eyebrows.
"What?" Sam asks confused. "That's a psychic?" Carter asks confused.
"Is a psychic an American wizard?" Regulas asks confused at what was going on.
"Uh, yeah. Yeah, I guess so." Sam says still confused as Carter goes into the backseat of the car and pulls out John's journal out of Deans bag.
"In Dad's journal... here, look at this." She opens to the first page. "First page, first sentence, read that." She says passing the journal to Dean.
"I went to Missouri and I learned the truth." Dean reads out and looks up at Carter and Sam and Carter shrugs.
"So now they are going to meet this Missouri person." Sirius says furrowing his eyebrows.
"Is their dad going to be there?" Regulas asks.
"Probably not." Remus says shrugging disappointed that they were still looking for the 'father' after weeks of trying to find him.
"I always thought he meant the state." Carter says shaking her head.
