There were no words to describe how much I loved Blue. I wouldn't tell him though, I didn't want to sound like a stalker. The minute he left the state line back in fall, I knew. Ever since we spent a night together a few years back I had been watching him. Or, watching out for him as I'd like to say.
But to say my reputation proceeded me would be an understatement. When I knocked on his motel door that night he looked at me with such a heightened level of fear it hurt me. He thought I'd hurt him, Milo, or both. And frankly, I couldn't blame him.
I can only thank God now that I have him in my arms. So relaxed and comfortable, melding and curving into me like putty. Now though, I'm watching him put his underwear on in the mirror. Every beautiful curve and edge of his body was both his and mine. He allowed me access to the treasure that is himself.
Milo was down for his afternoon nap before we headed out to the wedding. The weather had cleared up from the day before but there was something in the air. Something I didn't like.
"Do you think there will be fireworks at the wedding?" Blue turned to face me, his lips pursing.
"Probably." I stepped forward to wrap my arms around his waist.
"Pryo at a wedding is the ultimate flex of wealth." He laughed subtly.
"What do you want at our wedding? Fireworks, live animals, a street taco food truck. Anything you want, I'll get it for you." I smirked down at him watching his facial expression contort.
"Please don't do any of that. And especially do not propose to me at this wedding. I doubt you would this soon, but don't bring attention to me like that." Blue deadpanned.
"And what if I do?"
"I'll choke you or chop you in the neck or something." He spoke seriously, the tone of his voice making me life.
"That might turn me on, I'm not afraid of pain. Especially from you." I continued on, satisfied by the nervous look on his face.
"Get away from me, let me get dressed." He started to push me away as I laughed even harder.
"Okay, okay, I'll stop." I kissed him on his cheek, exiting the bathroom.
I entered the closet with a low sigh, reaching down into my safe and clicking in the code. I slid my gun from out of the safe and attached it to my waist. The heaviness of it was something I was used to, it gave me comfort. Like a guardian angel resting in arms reach.

When we made it to the hotel the atmosphere was bustling, people dressed in their finest jewels and furs. Milo walked closely by Blue's side, clutching his hand. I slid my arm around Blue's waist and pulled him closer to me. The action was more for my comfort than his.
