Chapter 2. About the Boy

*Georgia Rose POV*

"I can not believe she isn't answering me!!!" I yell out in frustration. I just met JAKEEYP!! JAKEEYFUCKINGP!!! AND SHE CAN'T BE BOTHERED!!!! I unlock the front door, and walk into Isa's and my house. When I walk into the kitchen I see why she isn't answering me, her phone is laying on the kitchen counter where we keep our keys. I swear she is the most forgetful human I have ever met. I go to school at the University of Miami, my major is Marine-Biology. I also minor in photography, it's just something I've been interested in as far back as I can remember, and that just so happens to be the reason I met JakeeyP.

He decided to come to Miami for school, which is amazing! He's double majoring in film and photography, and minoring in music. He's very ambitious if I say so myself. We have a few classes together. Three out of my five classes, and thats only because I need more advanced science and math, because I have a science major. We talked in all of them! It was really exciting. Jake is one of the nicest people I've met. We talked about our family and how I'm so close with my cousin, and he and Myles are so close. We talked about music, our majors and what we planned on doing with them. I just wish Isa would get home so I could tell her!

*Isa Marie POV*

I stand there speechless, which is something that, very rarely happens to me. He smiles, "I'm Jake Parrish, I'm from California....are you ok?" He looks concerned. I'm pretty sure I'm red as a beet, and getting redder by the second.

"Uhh...I..uh I know I'm actually a fan I've met you before... at a Kalin and Myles concert...ummm I'm sure you don't remember, because you meet lots of girls every night you're on tour, and now I'm rambling..I'm sorry," he's laughing pretty hard at me.

"You're fine," He laughs more, "Trust me I get a lot worse, but this is probably one of the cutest and funniest I've seen!! You were pretty flustered weren't you?" I just nod in response. "Don't worry I'm a pretty normal person, just like you, which is why I'm working here, just like you," he chuckles at himself. We get started on his training and he picks it up fast. He's very smart.

"You know this is really weird, normally I'd be asking the new guy about themselves to make them feel more welcomed, but I already know about you, because I love your music," we both chuckle.

"Well let me ask about you, cause if we're gonna be working together it'll be more fun if we're friends!" and at this point I think he's just trying to make me less nervous, but at least he's being sweet, and not a jerk.

After a few hours it's time for our lunch break, and I'm so happy, because I can go home and tell George about all this. "It's almost time for lunch, so if you want to go somewhere it's cool if you leave, you get an hour. Cool?"

He looks a little worried. "I was hoping I could just go with you, because I don't know this area very well. I, guess I could gps something."

"I was going home, that's the only reason I didn't offer to take you, but I mean you're more than welcome to come with me. You'll just have to deal with my cousin George...she's like me and loves y'all."

"Does your entire family just have crazy names? I have never heard of a girl being named George." The look on his face is one of pure puzzlement. I laugh, "Her name is Georgia, I've just called her that since we were kids it's shorter." He laughs at me.

"Barely. Ok lets go meet this cousin of your's."

We get in my car and Jake almost jumps out of my car, because the loud music when I turned my car on. It just happens to be Jakes latest trap mix, and when it dawns on him he just starts laughing. "Looks like I scared myself. You have very good taste in music," He just keeps laughing at himself, and his laughter is contagious. We get in fits of laughter the whole way to my house, and as we are walking in the door we are finally getting ahold of ourselves.

"OH MY GOD FINALLY!!!!" I hear George yell. "YOU WILL NOT BEL....uhhhh" She stops and looks completely shocked.

"Ohmygod! You guys are related! What the heck!" Jake looks more surprised than George does.

"Well you've met Jake too...Is he working at the lab with you?" She asks me while completely ignoring Jake.

"Yep, does he have classes with you?"

"YEAH I DO! DON'T YOU GUYS IGNORE ME!!! THIS IS REALLY WEIRD!" Jake says before anyone else can open their mouths.We just look at him and all three of us start laughing. I think this is going to be the start of a great friendship.
