Childhood (pt.4)

(They are 12)

It was a cold, bitter, October afternoon and for the Umbrella Academy children, weekends were the only time they could have a bit of fun.

Each kid was doing their own thing, Ben was reading, Luther and Diego were training, Klaus was bothering people, Allison was cleaning her room and Vanya was playing her violin.

Kali and Five? They were in Fives room like always. Doing what? Well...you're gonna find out soon. (No, they aren't making out)

Klaus was wandering the big empty halls looking for somebody to annoy.

"Benny boyyyy!" Klaus yelled out in a sing-song voice whilst entering the library.

"What do you want Klaus?" Ben asked annoyed.

"Have you any idea where our dear Number Five and Eight have gone?"

"Probably in one of their rooms, why?"

"Well in that case...would you like to pay them a visit?" Klaus asked jumping up and down while clapping his hands.

"Sure I guess" Ben sighed and set down his book.

"Yay!"

"Let's go," Ben said rolling his eyes.

The two brothers walked down the halls, they checked Kali's room. They weren't in there, they then came across Fives room.

The door was wide open and there sat Kali and Five on his bed.

Except they weren't talking. Five was laying on his back with his arms crossed and eyes closed, while Kali was sitting beside his head and making lots of little braids in his hair.

She had her headphones on and was very quietly humming.

Five was either asleep or was just resting his eyes but it looked like he was enjoying this moment cause he had a small smile on his face that never left once.

Ben and Klaus stood in the door with their eyes wide, "Oh. My. God." Klaus breathed out.

"This is going in the shoe box!" He whispered excitedly, he grabbed Ben's hand and pulled him to Klaus' room.

"Where is it?!" Klaus yelled.

"Where's what?" Ben asked, completely confused.

"I'll explain later when we show everyone! Just help me look for a camera!"

"Ok, ok!"

The two quickly bustled around the room and after a minute or two, Ben found it and handed it to Klaus.

"Let's go!" Klaus yelled, pulling Ben along again.

They stopped at Five's door, "Make sure the flash is off" Ben whispered.

"Oh yeah"

Klaus turned off the flash and took the picture of Kali and Five.

The picture came out of the top and Klaus squealed silently looking at the picture.

"Let's go show the others! I'll get the shoebox, you bring everyone to the kitchen." Klaus explained.

Ben nodded and rushed off, Klaus then went the other way and down to his room.

He grabbed a shoebox from under the bed and ran as fast as he could to the kitchen. Ben had managed to get everyone quite fast, cause they were all there before Klaus.

Klaus slammed the box on the table, "Ta-da!"

On the top of the shoebox was sharpie, it had a big heart and in the middle of the heart were more hearts and the numbers "♡5+8♡"
