Luther and old Five walked ahead of Kali and teenage Five as they walked towards a bridge that went over a train track. Kali had finally dropped his hand a few minutes ago but she wasn't even sure he noticed, he was constantly whipping his head around and muttering under his breath about being watched.

She hugged herself as she watched her feet step in sync with Five's like they usually did. They headed up the steps and Five spun around and shouted at a man, "What are you looking at?" Her eyes widened and she looked up at him in shock, people stared at the two kids and she bit her lip nervously. Kali lightly tugged Five's sleeve, signaling him to turn around and just walk like a normal person but he continued yelling at the person, "See something funny?"

She managed to get him to ignore that person and he angrily ran a hand through his sweaty hair as they walked. She looked back down at the ground thinking he had calmed down but as soon as another person walked by he blew up, "Mind your business! Or I'll give you something to stare at!"

People from below and everyone else passing gave Five and her weird looks, "Five." She whispered desperately. She looked at old Five and Luther but they seemed to be conversing about something that had Luther worried.

He ignored her and completely turned around to face another person, "You wish you could pull off these shorts!"

"Please stop." She begged quietly.

He pursed his lips and looked at her, "They're staring at you."

"Because you're screaming at them." She complained in a bare whisper, her eyes watering.

"No, they- they- I think they wanted to hit on you or something. I saw the way they were staring at you." He explained frantically, looking around.

She decided to ignore him and began to overthink if people were staring at her.

Luther stopped walking so that he could wait for the two teenagers to catch up. He started walking again when the two reached him and chuckled, "Hey, brother, sister. How you doing?"

Kali gave him a look for help as they began to walk down the stairs and Five looked up at Luther, "He's gonna kill me, isn't he?"

Kali's eyes widened and she looked between them in shock. Five was going to kill Five? That sounds so strange...

Luther scoffed and laughed, "What? What, him? He's gonna kill you? Yeah, right. That's ridiculous."

"You know you're a terrible liar, Luther." Five scolded and Luther pinched the bridge of his nose. "You're a worse liar than you are a spotter. Kali's doing far better than you."

"Okay, who's fault is that? What good is having spotters if you won't even listen to them?"

"So you admit you're conspiring against me?"

"Do... do you admit that you're suffering from paradox psychosis?" Luther shot back.

"All I'm suffering from is bracing clarity about you and your murderous intentions." Five quipped, itching his chest aggressively.

"Look, it's not like he's gonna 'kill you' kill you. He just wants to kill a, um... version of you." Luther explained calmly. The three reached the bottom of the stairs and walked down the crosswalk.

"But I am that version of me." Five exclaimed. Kali just glared at the back of old Five's head to feel like she was actually doing something helpful. Old Five glanced back at her and as soon as they made eye contact her glare dropped and she tensed. Old Five smiled at her but all she did was uneasily stare back and subconsciously grabbed her Five's sleeve for comfort.
