Its a quiet day at the Grand Sanctum.. A palace of young royalties gathered around while their close keen's are somewhere afar.As they rather choose to be left behind from all the classical works of Queenship and Authority, They'd go for a short freedom without their families' clutches. All is to say that a normal day as such is with a clear sky and a crowded courtyard with youngsters playing Pall-mall to their delight.
Well except for one who's having her nice chamomile tea, reading a book. Enjoying the solitude of being alone, away from her family's dynasty rules and having the moment of sinking in every word and quotes that she had just read.
"Aha! Top that brother!" A lad exclaimed as he hit his brother's ball to a far away position from the goal. It's a normal betrayal practiced as the game takes place that only a grin is what his brother can do.
"Oh Charles, I never expected such move." Prince Cameron sighed as he sights the ball. "Guess I read you wrong after all. I thought you'll take that score than falling back behind with me"
"I'd say, sometimes we take moves that are not well thought of just to feed our ego. Don't we Charles?" A princess not in a usual big gown but just a puff sleeve dress to lessen her annoyance of having to carry a burden of a gown, took her wooden mallet and aiming the ball to her victory.
But as the wind blows, an unfortunate event of the ball continuing past the small metal arch and going outside the courtyard made her hiss in defeat. "Truly, Princess Dani but.. I believe there's nothing worst than having to swallow that cockiness before the game starts, eh?"
The rest of her mates took their laughs remembering what she said earlier. "Oh cut it out" A friend of hers joined the conversation and looked at the Princess who just laughed at herself despite feeling anguish of losing. "Dani, you may still get your ball and start from the beginning. Do you wish to continue or accept the defeat?"
Dani just shook her head, squinting to see them clearly as the sun hits her sight. "Aight! Just one more wit to deal with" Cameron shrugged and smiled at the princess.
As the two Prince starts to duel at the game of pall-mall, Dani decided to walk towards her friend at the edge of the yard for some refreshments. A cold lemonade that is made just right for the sunny weather.
"What a game there" Princess Martha commented as she helps Dani with her quick break. The other princess just sighed and glanced back at the yard trying to push back her bitterness from losing. "Yeah right, pfft." Martha grinned at the expression and just helped herself with a cookie.
"There will be a ball at the Irvine's Castle, We will be expected and Queen Grimhilde specifically ordered Lady Hearst to make you wear a gown." Dani rolled her eyes. What would she expect from her mother letting her just be? Of course she'd have to wear a gown to please and bring flowers to their names. Such a pain in the a*s
She's feeling quite annoyed and the day didn't do her good. Martha's talks about her, helping The Irvings to prepare the ball and how she decided to choose her gown, muffled as Dani thinks of ways to cool herself up and to restore her greatness. She can't just go and move on without gaining back her victory at least.
She stifled a mischevious grin as her mind gathered a perfect plan to make herself better. She knows the perfect person and the perfect game to play
"And a fine pearl necklace with ambers on my tiara-"
"Have you seen Elizah?" She unconsciously cut off Martha making her apologize to the dear princess. "Oh- I haven't saw her all afternoon. Maybe she's at the Aubrey hall reading or playing an instrument of some sort."
