Chapter 21 ~ Gettin Ready ~

London's P.O.V.
"I think you look best in the white." I looked in the mirror and buttoned up the white jacket, tonight is the night of the dance I promised Rose I would attend.
"You look better in the black." Toby looked happy with the black, I brought along Masky, Toby, Jack, hoodie, and I don't know why Jeff came... boredom maybe.
"You look stupid in both of them." I rolled my eyes, he can be such a downer!
"I think they both look good." Jack is so weird sometimes, he couldn't make a decision to save his life.
"What do you think Hoodie?" I turned around and looked expectantly at Hoodie who just shrugged.
"Come on Hood, just give us your answer." he walked over to the white suit and tugged on the sleeve.
"White it is." Toby looked disappointed but didn't argue, "so who is this girl you're going to a dance with?" I tensed up, should I tell them....
Just leave out the part where you were supposed to kill her but she beat you up!
"I met her in the woods. her name is Rose-" I turned around by the sound of a chair scratching against the hardwood floor. Hoodie, who was previously sitting comfortably in his chair, was walking out of the room.
My gaze followed him and turned back to the guys when he disappeared.
"You know what just happened?" They all just shrugged. weird, Hoodie doesn't usually act out like that.
"Can you just get the white one so we can leave? I'm so booorrreeeddd!" I rolled my eyes and chuckled, "you didn't have to come, Toby." she shrugged and grabbed the black suit off the chair, "you're getting the white." I watched as he walked back to the rack of suits.
"Take the suit off so we can leave." I walked back into the changing room and took off the suit, I pulled my hoodie over my head and threw my hand through my messy hair.
I carefully took the hanger and went to the check out. I dug through my pocket and found it was empty.
Shit, left my wallet at home....
"We'll have to come back, I left my wall-" I didn't get the chance to finish,
"I just want to go!" Jeff snatched the suit from my grasp and walked up to the counter... there's no way he is paying for that!
Next thing I knew, the cashier had a knife in her throat. that makes more sense, we all just turned to look at one another in shock.
He did not just risk someone seeing him kill!
"Don't get any blood on the suit!" Jeff waved his hand and swiped the suit over he scanner, then clipped off the ink button. he grabbed a bag from over the counter and shoved the suit in the bag, he walked back over and handed me the suit.
"Can we leave now?" We all just looked at him, he's just going to leave the body?!
"shouldn't you clean up your mess Jeff!" Toby, I love the guy but sometimes he sounds like my mother.
"Who are you my mother?" I chuckled and walked out the door.
I climbed into the drivers seat of a truck Masky stole. I waited for everyone to get in before driving out, thing is... I can't do reverse...so, even though there was a car in front of me. I did some problem solving,
Put car in drive + gass = move car in front of me.
"What the fuck is wrong with everyone today! I know we kill people but can we at least keep this car in shape!" I considered this but decided that it was more fun to so whatever I wanted.

I looked back in the mirror, "for the millionth time, you look fine!" I had Masky come and help me with how I look, these guys are so annoying!
"There put a rose in your pocket and you're done. she love you, now please! Can I leave!" I chuckled and waved my hand to the door. Masky closed the door behind him and I heard his foot steps run all the way down the stairs.
Did someone buy more cheesecake or something?
"What are you doing?" I turned around to see Rebekah in the doorway.
"Just going to a dance with someone." her eyes lit with excitement, "can I come!" I narrowed my eyes.
"You don't have a dress." she rolled her eyes, "do you know nothing about me? I always have a prom dress in my closet!" I shrugged, "if you really want to come I don't care, just don't but me." she nodded and ran to her room, probably to get ready.
Lapis's P.O.V.
I looked in the very back of my closet and there it was, the dress I love so much! I haven't worn it to a dance yet, it means that much to me!
Shit, I need a date!
There is no way I'm going there as a loner!
I thought for a moment..... MASKY!!!
I turned around and smacked right into the door, "open the door dumbass!" I talk to myself sometimes, it's not weird. I opened the door and ran downstairs forgetting to close the door behind me.
I stopped at the bottom and looked around, I spotted his jacket in the kitchen and ran in. I pounced on his back causing him to freak, it took him a moment to figure out it was just me.
"What are you doing?" I giggled and climbed down, "just needed to get your attention, okay. I'm going to that dance that London is going to and I need a date so I was wondering if you wanted to go!" I said that so fast I was panting at the end of the sentence.
"Sure, but I don't have anything to wear." I smiled and waved it off, "you look great I don't mind." I didn't wait for an answer, I ran up the stairs and back to my room.
I took the dress and slipped it on forgetting about my t-shirt and shorts. I groaned in irritation and slipped them off before pulling the dress back on. I looked in the mirror, the dress looks amazing!
I yanked on a pair of high heels and pulled my hair into a side bun with a braid wrapped around the bun. I poked in a pair of earrings and applied my make-up, which isn't much.
I looked back in my full body mirror and smiled, perfect. and right on time! It's a gift!
I walked down the stairs in my high heels and met Masky down at the bottom, he just stared at me.
"You look beautiful!" I felt a warm blush flood my cheeks, "thanks!"
I waited for my brother and finally he appeared at the bottom, "ready?" We nodded. Masky put his arm out and i grabbed it.
I still don't know how to feel about Masky...
