Chapter 9 ~ Slender ~

London's P.O.V
Don't worry... It'll be quick... easy... painless.
"you're with us now."
"Wha-what about my sister."
"You've both met up with a terrible fate haven't you?"
"What has happened to my sister?"
"You'll soon see her."
"Is she okay?"
"You'll see her soon."
"Is she okay?!?!"
"It's time for you to wake up..."
"Hey!! Is she o-"
"Is he.... awake?!?!" They sound surprised, why wouldn't I wake up? I opened my eyes a little but I couldn't see the people around me clearly, they're blurry. I blinked my eyes open all the way and the people around me became clear. my mom, the doctor, three nurses, and someone I haven't seen since birth....
"dad?"
Rebekah's P.O.V
Don't worry... it'll be quick.... easy.... painless.
"Soon enough, you'll be with us."
"Where's my brother?"
"You've both met up with a terrible fate haven't you?"
"What has happened to my brother?"
"You'll see him soon."
"Is he okay?"
"You'll soon he him."
"Is he okay?!?!"
"It's time you wake up..."
"What about my-"
"She can't be awake!!! It's impossible!" why is it impossible for me to wake up? What's wrong? Why is it impossible? I opened my eyes and just barely saw the people around me.
I moaned and they started murmuring. I opened my eyes the rest of the way and identified the people around me.
"They both woke up... One after another?!"
Mom, the doctor, three nurses, and...
"Dad? Is that you?"
I looked to the left and saw London, he looked at me too.
"London?"
"Hey Bek." I put my hand on my head and sat upright. London soon did the same.
"What did you mean, it's impossible?" They all exchanged worried and confused glances, when the doctor finally look at us.
"You two both died last night. you've been dead for hours." I can't believe this! They are joking with us! I slowly turned my head to look at London, we made eye contact and screamed.
"You're joking!" London yelled disbelievingly. I turned to look at my mom who had tear stained cheeks and blood shot eyes... like when she lost my sister.
Shit... we died!
I stood up from the bed and London followed, "you two shouldn't be doing that! Get back in the bed." I turned and looked at them with a blank look, London and I did this at the same time.
What's happening? I don't even care! My moms crying doesn't effect my feelings... I have none! I turned around and ran out the door through the hospital hallways and down the stairs. I looked from left to right not worried about someone catching me... I just need to leave! I ran out the front door and into the woods. I could hear people following behind me, it sounded like there was only one. I turned my head to find London was hot behind me. I stopped and waited for London to stop.
"London, is any of this effecting you?" He shook his head from side to side.
"Are-are we dead?" He looked to be deep in thought. I looked up at the stars in the night sky, "what time is it?" He looked down at his watch, "1:07 am" i looked around the woods... it's dark. I looked behind London... there he is! The tall, slender man with no face.
"London, he's behind you." London turned around and looked at the man.
"Maybe he has something to say." We walked side by side to the talk man and stopped in front of him.
"You've met up with a terrible fate, haven't you?"
"It was you! It was you talking to me before I awakened!" London and I had once again said the same thing at the same time.
"Do you crave it? Do you crave to kill?"
Now that he mentions it... I feel this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach... telling me to.... kill. by the look on London's face I could tell he feels the same.
"How did you know?" Curiosity always gets the better of me.
"If you have this sensation... then you can come with me. There's a place where people like you live. you can live with them... if you want."
I can't spend my life with my family if all I want to do Is kill them.
"I can't live with my family... not like this. I'll come." London looked at me and went into deep thought.
"If she goes, I go."
