Chapter 17 ~ Who's She? ~

Lapis's P.O.V
I ran through the woods with a smile, all I want to do is see Ross! She is awesome to hang out with!
I stopped in front of the shed, panting, "Hey Ross, I'm here!" I called out. I heard a raspy voice, "Lapis!" She called as loud as possible, I ran for the other side of the woods and looked down at Ross who was laid against the shed in pure pain.
"Ross! What happened!" She pointed behind me and I stood up, turning around to investigate.
"AGH!" I screamed as someone slammed me up against the side of the shed. she held me by the neck, lifting me up against wall, and choking the life out of me. I kicked my feet out at her but it was no use, she was strong.
I glared at her as I felt my face start to burn from the lack of oxygen.
This girl had dark brown hair which was pulled back in a pony tail and she had pure red eyes. She looked angry when she kneed me in the gut. she dropped me and I held my stomach in pain. I clenched my teeth together and rolled over in the dirt.
I gasped for breath on the ground when finally I found it.
"AGHHH!" I groaned in pain.
She bent down and pulled me up by my sweatshirt I glared into her blood red eyes. She wore black, only black. she clenched her teeth in anger.
"You think this hurts? Just you wait!" She dragged me a little ways from the shed and some how managed to throw me at the wall.
I hit the wall with a loud thump, knocking the breath out of me. I landed roughly on the floor. I closed my eyes and tried to get up but I failed, broken bones and injured pride. I looked over to see if she was coming to break me more, but she was gone. I turned to look at Ross who was still sitting up in pain against the shed.
"who was that?" I moaned, she shook her head and shrugged her shoulders in pain.
"I don't know.... but she was strong.... and she's coming back." I turned to look at her and she slowly lifted her arm to reveal the a message... for me...
"I'm coming back for Lapis." it was burned into her arm, dried blood crusted onto her arm, and black around the edges of each little letter burned into her arm.
"How did she do that." She closed her eyes as she gently settled her arm on the ground, "she has eyes.... that are.... lasers." she stopped between words to breath in for more breath.
Still struggling to breath, the lack of oxygen caused my eyes to become heavy with sleep, and soon, I couldn't fight the sleep.

I opened my eyes as I was laid out in talk grass, my dream scape. For some reason I always wake up in this field when dreaming.
I looked around the peaceful meadow and instantly relaxed. The tree in the middle of my dream scape was pink with apple blossoms. I smiled and let the wind weave its way through my hair, blowing what's on the left side to the right.
I laid back down and smiled up at the sky where the clouds float by. I just sat there when suddenly, I feel something shaking me. I don't know how, but I could feel something grabbing my arms and frantically shaking me, most likely to wake me up.
I closed my eyes and opened the slowly to see a blurry figure in front of me. I moan and open them all the way and the blurry figure in front of me turns out to be Masky.
"Masky?" I rasp out, I hear a deep breath escape his lips, relief... a deep breath of relief.
"Gosh! You're okay!" I felt him lift me up and carry me bridal style back in the direction that I think the mansion is in.
"Masky, how'd you find me." I could now see him clearly. his eyes widened, "I... uhhh... I was just walking through the woods...."I raised an eyebrow and he exhaled loudly, admitting defeat.
"I'd noticed you'd been gone all day and I got worried. so I set out to find you." Masky? Looking for me?
Wait holy shit! Masky never talks to me!! He is almost as bad as hoodie!
"Aw! You care!" He rolled his eyes and I couldn't help but relax in his arms, and how ever he managed to carry me is unknown! "You know Masky, you're strong." I chuckled, "did someone drug you?" I laughed and thought back to earlier... and I remembered everything. the pain returned as I shifted in his arms, "ah! Fuck!" Softly yet loudly yelled which had mad Masky jump.
"What's wrong?!" I closed my eyes painfully, "holy shit! Lapis, I haven't realized this till now but... your face is bruised black and blue!" He knelt down and set me on the ground.
I painfully laid still as everything burned inside me.
"Is it okay if I check you over?" I nodded and he took my hand examining my arm, and then he gently laid my hand down and put his hand on my ribs. I flinched in pure pain and his hand shit back. he slapped his hand to his side and looked at me in confusion.
"Lapis! What happened! You've broken your arm, two ribs, your collar bone, and a finger." It hurts but I swallowed before I spoke, "she beat me... she's coming back." she shook his head, confused, and gently picked me up. but no matter how gentle he was, it still hurt like a sun of a bitch!
"We'll talk back at the mansion!" He told me and I just rested my head on Masky's chest as he carried me to the mansion.
