The Coming of Ragnarok

Chapter 4

I have watched Jacksepticeye's playthrough of GOW Ragnarok & all I can say is that the game is as amazing as the trailer showed it as, also was not expecting Odin's appearance to be different from his concept art.

The face, for me somehow, does not fit as compared to the rather bearded & older looking one compared to the very young-ish appearance of his actual game appearance but that's just me.

Anyway back to the story.

The scene starts not at the campsite, where the duo begins but at the still crumbling area by the duo's house & there we can see a familiar large man, wearing the usual draconic armor that has been slightly dirtied from the earlier fight & is seen wandering the area where his brother & Kratos fought.

The larger stranger removes his hood revealing Y/n still bearing the tired bloodshot eyes that has been with him for the past few decades, the exact reason still unknown to most barring his family, but most came to the conclusion that it involves his wife & her... unique condition. He is seen saying something to no-one in particular.

Y/n POV

Y/n: Where are brother....? You don't normally take this long to get out of this kind of place.... Then again you did get buried a few times so that's a good enough excuse as any but still.

Y/n then goes around the area looking around to see where his brother may have gotten temporarily trapped under something or someone, while Baldur could get out on his own, he still takes a fair amount of time to get out of said trapped position, so he looks around & finds not a single area where he could find his brother & then after sometime then goes to sit down on a nearby rock that had fallen down on to the ground.

He then waited for a good bit of time & soon enough he then hears the sounds of.... something but he tries to ignore it but instead the sounds slowly but surely gets louder & it starts to begin sounding like a faint yell, so he tries to drown it out again but it still persists & becomes louder & louder each time he tries to ignore it.

He then could here the yells become pained screams..... Screams the sounded like his wife's... & this was something that he hears at a semi-regular basis hearing his wife's screams while normally he could ignore it, he couldn't as while the screams did not change....

The reason why she screamed did, ranging from various forms of harm, torture & everything in between from simply being ripped apart, magically cooked from the inside & out, repeated stabs to the body, squeezed to death, impaled by icicles, slow disintegration & every other possible brutal death possible & this continued on & on from the day it began & it only became increasingly worse & at times he could hear the Jötunn leader say thing like....

Jötunn Leader: So much power, so much strength in both body & magic & yet.... You are powerless....

(Y/n tries to control himself but is slowly breaking)

So powerless that.... You let your wife be nothing more than a piece of meat to beat with my fists & powers....

(Y/n is now shaking in anger but still holds back)

And not only that.... Its ironic isn't it... For you.... YOU!!  A GOD that supposed to control the concept of disaster.... ends up with a disaster that let's his own WIFE to be BATTERED, BEATEN & TORTURED....

(Y/n is now growling in anger, balling his fists tightly to where bloods seeps to the ground but now barely holds himself back)

So where is your power..... Where is your strength..... For the ONLY thing that I see is a false god, a false idol who only uses his fame from his brother to get what he wants....
