Chapter 10

Important A/N: Apologies for the EXTREMELY late update as I was doing my OJT for about 300 hours & not only that but I was also making FNF music for another story of mine so updates had... slowed down a lot...

Also I'm still working on the other stories, but it will random & slow based on what's happening at moment in my life, so don't expect constant & consistent updates.

Not only that I was helping my friend @DecayingKing plan out his Monster Hunter story which is gonna one hell of a story when it gets publish, we did some good work on it & the character especially, came up with his name & capabilities for a good chunk of it.

Anyways back to the story, also we will be going away from the main quest & on to some side quests as I planned from the beginning, it will also help provide some insights to future chapters in some regards.

Atreus: Jötunheim!! We're going to Jötunheim!! We're going to find the long-lost realm of the Giants!! That's.... that's....!!!

Kratos: Inconvenient.... and dangerous.

Atreus: Yeah.... that's.... just what I was going to say... W-wait dangerous? But the giants are all friendly compared to like Asgard from what we've seen.

Kratos: A long time has passed since these giant have left this realm & locked themselves in their own home realm. A great deal of changes could & have happened inside of their own home, changes that would change the balance of power in these lands.

Atreus: Yeah.... yeah, I guess you're right.

Kratos: And Atreus...

Atreus: Yes, father?

Kratos: You must temper your enthusiasm with caution. You must not let your guard down as all possible dangers can & will eliminate you when  you least expect it or when you slacken your guard.

Atreus: Got it.... temper my enthusiasm.... but do I need to it always?

Kratos: Yes, always. Truly disciplined warriors can be enthusiastic when the situation calls for it but also without letting themselves be vulnerable to their enemies in those times as those are the times your enemies will most likely target you.

Atreus: Got it... Tempered enthusiasm...

Kratos: Good, now let us continue back towards the witch's abode.

As they head towards the only path forwards, Atreus comments upon the old realm gate to Jötunheim...

Atreus: So this is the bridge to Jötunheim...? This looks like those weird doors we've seen.... I guess Mimir will help us figure it all out.... If we can bring him back to life....

Kratos: Hmm...

The duo then continue forwards towards the only path that could lead back down to the base of the mountain & reaches a massive view towards the lands far off in the distance & then sees the lands they have traveled through such as their home's forest with their mostly intact stave & the red leaved forest in the distance...

Kratos: Do you remember the way to the Witch's house?

Atreus: Yeah. The woods with the blood-red leaves south of the lake... I know just where to go. Hope she made it back from Alfheim and can bring Mimir back. He seemed nice, before you cut off his head...
