Chapter 9 + New Story Announcement

Important Announcement!!!!

Before we get to the story, I would like to announce to anyone who's interested and/or a fan of the Command & Conquer series, & specifically Red Alert 2 & its expansion pack Yuri's Revenge game.

And are also fans of the unofficial expansion pack, the Mental Omega mod. Then good news for you, for I have made my own story about it, as not only am I a fan of both the series (Before EA killed it...  CURSE YOU EA!!!!!) & the mod Mental Omega (Which is currently finished... EXCEPT FOEHN.... until maybe in a far off update or fan spin-off).

And in the style of the Mental Omega mod, a new subfaction (my own) has been added along with its own lore (which will be discussed in the prologue line) which will be a very unique one as I based it on my own style of playing the game.

Along with that, unique missions (Chapters) dedicated towards the subfactions capabilities, philosophy & tactics that will cause every faction barring its parent faction to develop their own counter-arsenal.

So go if you're interested, go check it out, its name is "An Inevitable Future?" its only 1 chapter for now as I'll focusing on this story until its finished & then I'll do both my Mental Omega & Madness Combat stories, although I may make random chapter now & again at random for both those stories as I do this one.

Somewhere in the foothills near the tallest mountain (in Midgard)

As the armies of Asgard, readies themselves for the coming future, the former God of War, Kratos & his son Atreus, make their way back to the mountain after gaining the Light of Alfheim for their Bifrost to clear away the deadly Black Breath that blocks their way to the mountain.

But if one were to observe the duo closely, Atreus was slightly farther away from Kratos as he was still contemplating what his father said during their travels in Alfheim & the events that transpired there.

The scene then transitions into flashes of the events that transpired in Alfheim (Basically the recap option in GOW: Ragnarok)

As back in Alfheim, after gaining the light, Kratos had entered the Light Well in which sent him into a very strange dimension or realm that showed various locations some he knew & others he did not.

As he traversed the realm following after the bag that held his late wife's ashes, he hears the voice of his son who had, understandably, his doubts & slight denouncement to him to the wrapped body of his wife.

As heard his son's thoughts & opinion about him & that despite his faults, he was giving him a chance to prove himself that he was  good father & yet wishes for her to return... in which was a impossible request.

After transitioning through the different locations & hearing the thoughts of his son, he had arrived to a strange bridge & soon enough then heard a very familiar voice that was singing....

And Kratos, immediately knew whose voice it was, for it was the voice of his late wife, Laufey singing in her native language from across the bridge & just as he proceeded towards her calling out her name in want to see & hold her once more, he was grabbed & thrust out of the well & back into Alfheim.
