Hooo, and here's Tony's memory of how their first meeting went. Course, it starts when Luna leaves.

Tony put the vampire on the bed, making sure he wouldn't fall over or faint at any second.

"I'm Tony Thompson, Luna's friend at school."

"Rudolph Sackville-Bagg, a vampire of the night." He ran a hand through his abnormally high and long hair.

Seeing as how this was his chance, Tony asked, "So, anything you can tell me about vampires?"

"Well based on the fact you have vampire stuff in your room you know plenty." The vampire said while gesturing to his many comic books and such.

"Oh. What about Butterfly Vampires?" A moment where Tony hadn't messed up and made the vampire angry at him!

"Ah yes, our special sisterhood. They can stand in the sun and moon. However, they have visible wings that shine at the slightest sliver of light, making them obvious to human hunters. Sadly there are also not many left. Only a few dozen in the world. Just six exist here. Two adults, a teen, and the rest are children. They also live an average mortal life instead of being immortal like us." He seemed well-advised on the Butterfly Vamps. Probably because he knew Luna.

Tony could only say, "Wow." After all, this was changing his whole world.

"Yes, wow. They also have magic but that is rare. Being with the two adults. We're hoping one of the kids will have some." Pity and sadness brushed them both. The immortal's red eyes flashed with slight nostalgia.

"That's terrible." Tony could only imagine the pain of being alone. To worry about the preservation of a species, of your family. Tony could only empathize with them both.

"Not as terrible as my family almost losing their lives to Rookery. That bastard constantly hunts us down for no reason. He would only stop if it meant our destruction." Anger laced in his rough voice, no doubt still recovering.

"Luna won't let that happen. Neither will I." Tony tried to reassure Rudolph. But he barely knew him, he couldn't be sure it'd work.

It had, though only for a little, "A mere mortal can't stop him. Though he is mortal he is protected by the law of monster hunters. They'll notice his death and where. Or if he's in major distress." Turning away from Tony, facing the moon. Casting light upon his deathly pale face and giving an eery glow to his red eyes, the black leather and spikes reflecting rays.

"I can still do something. I gotta put my school stuff away."

Tony's eyes kept wandering to Rudolph. The vampire was attractive, objectively. Unpredictable and peaceful. The gray of his skin looked to be carved from the moon. A few times Tony thought he saw speckles or splots of darker or lighter colors. But Tony got to work, his school stuff here and there. Glancing at him now and then. At some point, the vampire must've turned around.

"Mortal stop staring at me," Rudolph remarked. (And smugly so.)

Tony panicked at the immortal's notice of his stares, "Hey, I'm just worried you'll do something stupid."

"I'm a vampire I don't need a mortal's help," Rudolph said almost angrily. Tony could barely understand why.

"Suuuure. Tell that to the person you sucked."

And suddenly silence. Tony had realized what he said and by all means, wanted to retract it. How could he say that, especially to a guy he just met? If only he could dig a hole and bury himself, why was he so weird sometimes?!

"OH- no I meant blood not that way- god that's embarrassing. So uncool." He could feel the heat making its way up his neck and cheeks.

"Mortal why are you panicking? You were right. And what does your temperature have to do with this?" Rudolph put his hand against Tony's forehead.

Rebounding from his panic, Tony chuckled, "Wow, you have a lot to learn. You must be old." Swatting the hand away and watching as it curled back into its resting place.

"Three-hundred and thirteen. My birthday was in two nights, not that it matters, I don't like my birthday." The jet-black-haired teen sighed. His eyes closed, in annoyance or tiredness, Tony couldn't tell.

"Oh wow, uhhhh happy birthday???" Tony shrugged with an awkward smile.

Tony remained quiet after that, afraid of another terrible stumble. He was a disastrous person and never could go without a stupid, clumsy act. He never looked at Rudolph again until the other suddenly grabbed Tony's face.

"Interesting." Rudolph's dead-set observant stare into Tony's eyes had him anxious. He felt it was dangerous to stare into such hypnotizing eyes.

"What?" His own fingers resting over Rudolph's cold and sleek, but strong, clasp nervously.

"Your eyes are the color of the sky. I haven't seen the sun-filled sky for a long time." Amazement, wonder, nostalgia, and so many other emotions flowed into and out of Rudolph making his eyes and face look softer.

"Oh, do you miss it?" Tony relaxed into Rudolph's hold. Softly gazing back into Rudolph's maroon eyes brightened by the midnight eyeshadow and eyeliner.

"Dearly."

"Well, here are a few photos I've taken of the sunrise. They're nothing good but I'll count this as a birthday present for you." Slowly taking himself out of Rudolph's hands and grabbing the pictures he took with his Polaroid.

"...Thank you mortal." The immortal took a breath, chest rising and falling ever so slowly. His eyes collected every detail, almost like it was the first time he'd seen color.

"You should stop calling me that. My name is Tony." A little pout made its way onto his face.

"I'm perfectly aware mortal." A hidden smile graced Rudolph's face as he floated back to the bed. His black and red cape flowed softly behind.

"Then call me Tony. After all, we're friends now." Sitting back beside the vampire since he wasn't going to continue cleaning.

"Us, Friends?" Dark eyebrows meet in the middle, one slightly more elevated than the other. The ends of gray lips curling down, slightly stretching.

Tony wanted to laugh at Rudolph's mess of confusion,b"Yeah, I saved your life and you helped me realize that vampires are real." Because it was as simple as that.

"You and me, friends," furthering the furrow of his eyebrows," Hmm, well that certainly sounds interesting but my parents would disapprove." A sliver of bright white teeth revealed itself.

Tony could only frown and ask," And you listen to them?"

"...No. Not really." The vampire held his head between his hands, claws barely touching his skin and eyes looking down. Mouth downturned and tight. Though Tony could tell a smile was making its way, he just had to keep tugging.

"So then we're friends. Right, Rudolph?" He inquired while grinning at the boy.

"Right Tony." He answered returning the smile. The first of a genuine smile he'd gotten from the boy, a teen even if 300 years older. The sharp fangs somehow looked soft to Tony just adding charm to that smile. Though that large smile lasted just a second, becoming smaller though still as gentle.

The clock struck twelve and only then had Tony truly noticed how late it was. He'd have to go back home.

He sighed, "Oh man I gotta go back home. Sorry, do you need anything anything at all, I could leave a cup of blood here if you need it?"

"No I'm fine mortal," Rudolph quickly said, "the amount you gave me before was enough. And you need to recover. Go home to your family, I'll be fine." Shooing away Tony and even slightly pushing him towards the door.

Tony double-checked with Rudolph before making his way downstairs, to the front door, and finally walking out of it.

Once at home, Tony kept thinking about the way Rudolph said his name was fuzzy. A little bolt that made him shiver and warm. But that was probably because Rudolph was his first Vampire bat friend. The one he read about in stories and movies, though not quite, and that was good.

After finishing his shower Tony quickly changed and went to sleep. Dreaming about his vampire friends and their new journey.

Hooo, does Tony give off dimple vibes, or am I the only one who sees that?
